Because it breaks the chain and shows that whatever else might have happened to her after that point she was alive when JF could last be proven to have had contact with her.

I never said it was a good alibi.

ETA: I also don't think any such video exists. I think JF came up with this 4D chess move because he has seen in all the crime shows/movies that gas station CCTV usually gets erased every 48 hours so even if there was a camera the footage would have been wiped months ago.

she moved out and ran around with different groups after she turned 18. it seems like that is the case. I was thinking it from something wrote in this thread, about her running around and she did roam or travelled for a while. Would intend to think she wasn't really cared about after she turned 18; and probably much before. Leading to doing that. Not that I say she is a druggy or anything but something normalish parents do so much. but 18, and then jet the fuck out as being caring responsible parents. Lends to the story that her parents were actually even told about her doing what the story is now(from JF) that she went to travel ze world etc. And that they then never bothered reporting her missing for 4 months.
But I think it was comments from videos that people were saying this from. The thing was she did travel, and roam (around with) other people. Doing some weed and alcohol basically dont know what else. She doesn't look to me like a hard drug user. They usually have some evil look to their eye. She doesn't. Its like to me her and her parents didnt care. but its a sort of alibi thats not been totally rooted out yet or checked on all the different things it bring up like is any of it even true? wondering why noone bothered checking on her now. it doesnt make sense, she's been with JF for what? 5 years? isn't like she upped and just walked out at 18 from her parents, she turned 18. doesn't seem like that matches with up and leaving JF and a kid and a house and everything else, and 100k a year spent on her. not to bring too much attention to that. do whatcha want. But the question is her parents attitude towards it. and who is responsible for her situation that she was put in.

Something I've seen on The First 48 is logs of how the phone is used, and this can be strong evidence.

For example, if Elora used her fingerprint to unlock her phone 99% of the time, and then when it was used in the days after she was thought to have left, the phone was unlocked via a passcode, this would point to, "people are creatures of habits and they don't easily break habits." This would be enough probable cause to get some search warrants.

I saw one episode where they knew the time of death, and then the killer used the victim's bloody fingerprint of their dead body to unlock the phone. Afterwards, the fingerprint scanner had some long presses with no fingerprint data present, implying the killer was wiping blood off of the phone with a cloth or something.

If she has an iPhone that he unlocked with the face ID scanner on, forget about it. The phone would log that it was unlocked by a person with a face that didn't match hers.

you're right i did it. im jf's alt account. I'm just saying you're not going to hear from her again (probably). I heard it from someone quoting his videos about her. maybe i saved one. been reading this thread from when she disappeared. im assuming at 18-20, moving on from that I read this from the forum and that came from videos of JF talking about her, she moved out and her parents didnt care (enough to stop her) about her wandering. She did that, and whatever comes along with it for a while, maybe im elaborating but maybe she got a bf for a while, did that for a bit. but sometime she started working, someone posted a picture somewhere. I think she went to school. then she dropped out to go after jf. and thats been that way for the last 5 years I think.. and she is now (dead) 30.

(1) The phrase "The first 48" refers to the amount of time the police have to find a lead or make an arrest before a criminal investigation runs cold (and the probability of solving it is reduced by 50%.) It's not specific to missing persons. Maybe you are thinking about the statistic that the majority of missing persons are found within 48h.

(2) The A&E show The First 48 is exclusively about homicide investigations. Occasionally there are story lines with severe assaults where the person may or may not live. The show's title sequence says, "For homicide detectives, the clock starts ticking the moment they are called. Their chance of solving a murder is cut in half if they don't get a lead within the first 48 hours."

JF's "electronic alibi is retarded and would leave a digital trail of it's own. The local cookies etc... on his hard drive are probably gone, because mama jf "likes to play with water" and destroyed 2 of his laptops, but the ISP and servers would still have traces. The RCMP had better hurry though as many logs are only stored for 30-90 days.

I have been listening to his repeated interviews in the background lately and I have noticed he is full of shit.

He dropped off a retarded woman in the woods with nothing but a cellphone for an off the grid survival trip, then when asked about her lack of supplies said it was actually an urban survival trip. In the woods.
