Most of the rest of the time, it depends how far down the spectrum they are. General behavior can range from mostly normal to deeply detached, but neither of those states is conducive to wandering off for months. What you're describing is more associated with dementia. Schizos aren't generally so motivated.

Even if that were plausible, it's secondary to her being completely out of contact with anyone for months. Even deeply reclusive hermits rarely go that long without communicating with someone, somehow.

Reporting was always a relatively simple and easy job, contrary to artificial standards and guidelines selectively utilized by the Columbia Journalism Review and industry faggots quibbling over who went to what "journalism school". Ann Coulter used to do a great job mocking and exposing the scam of the journalism industry. The Oscar-like aura they build around their own business and peers was largely done to kiss their own asses and have a large barrier to entry to superior people who don't want to spend a decade of their life and get hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt just to get a foot in the door.

But even still, there did used to be some professionalism and some legitimate investigations done. I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that she either had a severe case or got subpar speech therapy. I'm just speculating based on my knowledge of a speech disorder that causes the kind of elocution that MamaJF exhibited. JF has a pattern, confirmed in US court, of finding girls with problems (low IQ, autism, learning disabilities) because they are easy for a sociopath like him to manipulate.
