I'm pretty sure that was a completely different woman. From what I remember, she was a student at the university JFG worked at and drove hours to be with him. Her family took action and the state eventually stepped in as she was obviously mentally impaired. JFG represented himself in court in an effort to get it overturned, only resulting in making himself look like a huge creepy weirdo.
I'm familiar enough with Moncton. I knew the shelter was on Albert st. I didn't know there was a clinic there too. Hopefully we'll find out if it was just a random tip or if the shelter or clinic ID'd her. I suppose it doesn't matter much now anyway, this was all months ago.
