Honestly a series where a young trans actor finally lands their "big break" only to find their boss is an incompetent who refuses to listen to their good ideas would be a far better premise than Gen Zeds. That way you'd get a character who's personality stretches farther than them just being trans and telling jokes and you also get a distinctive narrative you can build a character ark on.

But pew pew amirite.

I'm thinking this is a serious confession, but then I realize erectile dysfunction is one of the after effects of a stroke.

Apparently someone we know is now an inside joke to Theryn Meyer and Blair White. A brief mention in this livestreamed video, Blair jokes that she looks like Julie Rei when she doesn't have makeup on.

That's actually a pretty good idea. You should write a treatment.

Considering I rarely wear makeup, that's wishful thinking. I've seen what she looks like without makeup. Only one of us passes without a pound of makeup on their face.
 
Listening to Hayden's interview. I'll get down anything worthwhile he says.

At about 5 minutes he stats talking about the trolls. this prompts him to talk about Gen Zed
  • "The animation takes Forever... We did jump the gun slightly" yeah no shit Hayden.
  • "original animator (who he says is still on board) 'overpromised'
  • "new animator is doing it in 3D... it will look phenomenal when its done"
  • "A few months later someone posted it (the trailer) to one of these alt right, conspiracy right-wing website (name drops 4chan and 8chan)"
  • (Explains what gen zed is about)
  • "My sense of humor is dark... [the show] its funny and its edgy... nobody knows anything about apart from this 2 minute trailer"
  • "We still get nasty comments on an almost daily basis"

Im picturing something akin to 90s kids animation reboot and the animated flop food fight.....but with zero fucks given to lip synch.
One of those shows were characters have no at rest model so are in constant motion to make the most out of animation assets.

It always annoys me when this thread gets bumped and it isn't even Hayden Black who died. Because seriously, I want him to die.
