Other politically incorrect sites/forums like /r/CringeAnarchy were deplatformed (and Reddit alternatives for hosting CringeAnarchy, like Voat or Ruqqus weren't gathering a lot of traction), so some of their users came over here.

I think the third factor would be KF's security breach that also happened around the same time. Quite a bit of the old guard left when information such as their emails and IP addresses were publicly leaked. So basically they weren't there to bitch slap newcomers and tell them not to A-Log/don't interact with cows. The reminders Josh puts at the top/bottom of the forum pages aren't quite as effective as being relentlessly made fun of by other forum-members for being a sped/cow-tipping.

I personally started seeing it after Christchurch. The amount of media that took Josh's response to that NZ police chief or whatever, as the site genuinely being a 4chanstormfront abomination that people had been screaming it was, only pushed the kind of people that would want exactly that onto the site. The current culture wars have only made it worse as time went on. The Keffals and Fong Jones did some actual damage (ok Keffals really only helped amplify the voice of the outcries) but given these both happen to be trans individuals, all it did was reinforce the notion in our more further right kiwis that these people are genuinely out to get them. Basically they turned the gossip site into what I would argue does have flares of acting like a hate site when people like this pour out to make their "totally absolutely funny" comments. I've certainly seen some wild shit said on Articles and Happenings.

Kiwi Farms was always a little mean spirited but it's not done in jest for a lot of people anymore. Half the time I'm convinced the newer site members aren't here to laugh and gossip but to just be mad. It really kills the enjoyment of these threads where the absolute worse I can say about someone is "oh they're a furry vtuber." This is shit I would expect to see from people reading about the zoocrew, not this (as far as anyone knows) ultimately harmless goofball who seems to be suffering serious creative burnout and trying to recenter themself.

tldr; this is sadly just community rot as far as I can see. Not much anyone can do but push back when you see this. Maybe if you see it on site as well (obviously because Alogs are psychotic by definition)

I followed him on a few socials and he kept reposing stuff from his furry femboy account, which I blocked because of how much I was getting sick of it. How in the world did Furry Femboys just spring up out of nowhere in the past few years. Like, what was the big trigger?

Ok, so troonism was a thing in the late 2010s. People were trooning out publicly on the Internet, and you had prominent examples like Joshua Dale, and they were still able to get away with a lot of stuff with little responsibility. But they still kind of remained as a small minority during this timeframe.

During this time more people on Twitter were obsessed with what I like to call the "gay gold rush". People were rushing to shoehorn in homosexuallity into cartoons, games, etc. Gay pride was at its peak and Twitter would not shut up about it. Eventually, it began to die off around 2018, and this is where the pr0gs were left wondering what to do next. Enter the Hbomberguy DK64 stream. After that stream, people started posting the trans flag everywhere. This was also the point where the queerios thought it would be funny to make VAs say "trans rights" or "code" characters as trans.

I remember this was also the point where the "allies" began to move the goal posts and move on from the "rainbow flag", moving on to obsessing over a wider variety of color patterns and automatically coding them with any character that shared a similar color scheme. (I.E. any character what wore purple and blue was Bi now in the eyes of pr0gs for some reason.)

I actually found out about Sentypurr during this time, and he was the first example of a furry femboy that I found on Twitter. There were probably several before him, but considering this archetype would blow up in the following years, I wouldn't be surprised if he at least played some sort of part in setting an example.

I did some searching on the farms after I found out about his involvement, and yeah, it seems he did indeed interview Chris at one point. In fact, he has account on the farms! One-to-two years before he went viral with his anime girl comics, no less! You think you know a guy...

He is a textbook case of trolls remorse. Hbomber used to be a part of metokur with Jim and would troll people. He then grew out of it, had massive regret and became a breadtuber before breadtubers were a thing. Fred (and Idubbbz too) are suffering from the same thing, regreating their slightly edgy content and are doing a 180 as a result.

To get back on topic, I think the people who say he's just a harmless furry are being overly optimistic. I've seen this catboy song and dance before, he's 100% got some fucky Discord where he does fucky things with a bunch of other fucky people. Just look at who he considers his closest friends, for crying out loud! I would say a large reason as to why we haven't gotten a new video for 3 years has probably to do with the fact that this friend, Spikey, killed himself. He considered him to be that close, and he was a diaper wearing furry troon. No way he gets wise and escapes this either, it's already too late. It's joever. It's been joever for a very long time.

Do you have any examples of threads where you think this happens? Because I've seen anything but this, so maybe I'm just in the wrong threads.

If he doesn't, the thread dies and nobody knows you were wrong.

And if he puts you into a highlight reel for being wrong, then you left an impact on him for an idle comment and that's just funny.

The only drama Oneyplays has had is with adjacent groups that Chris is or was tied with. There was the Dream Daddy drama with Julian and Dingdong (long story short, Game Grumps makes a dating sim game that could be argued to be exploiting gay people. Dingdong said so and was then harassed by Game Grumps fans to the point of considering the rope), and as far as the Sleepy Cabin group went, I heard (but not confirmed) that Rice Pirate AKA Mick tried fucking Chris's GF, and (confirmed) Chris got into a couple of slapboxing matches with Stamper (because Stamper's a fucking meth head now) and Arin Hanson of Game Grumps (Because Arin was being a whiney bitch baby a few years back when SrPelo slightly made fun of some commentary channels).

As for what @YayLasagna was saying about the community of Kiwi Farms rotting, to be honest I haven't seen that much. Granted, I spend most of my time in Prospering Grounds and certain Cows I like to keep tabs on. Luckily whenever I see newfags a-logging or threatening to, they are promptly ridiculed.

I can only hope that it is the same everywhere else on this website.

I cannot speak for everyone, but for me, this website is not the racist circlejerk that closeted pedophiles like Mr. Lucas Keffles would say we are. We document people doing crazy, stupid, and shitty things to either themeselves or others because if we didn't, who would believe us?

Think about it, if you told a normie about some of the shit we document, do you think they'd believe you?
