Mentioned this several months ago, but last year, his tranny son was trending on Japanese Twitter (Link) because they said he looked "too beautiful". His son's big blue eyes, blonde hair, and pale skin drew comparisons to many blonde anime characters. Like Cloud from Final Fantasy or Howl from Howl's Moving Castle.

I don’t know, as a teen girl I’d be embarrassed like hell just being in close proximity to him. Yeah I can definitely see how it would hit differently for a woman, or a teenage girl especially, I don't think you're being too sensitive at all, its fucked up, I just think guys, and especially teenage boys have got a sicker sense of humor. Its definitely not appropriate, and as a parent of teen/tween girls, I'd be pissed off in a way I wouldn't be as a dumb highschool chud.

I agree about girls feeling very uncomfortable. I developed early and my breasts were pretty big (partly genetics, partly FAT). I hated having them for close to a decade, because they were so obvious and awkward. I wore a soft bra to sleep in because I was so uncomfortable with anyone else seeing them unbound, even my family. I can truly understand why teenagers want to cut them off, I still sometimes feel like it would be better if they were gone, not reduced, gone - and I know that's not a mentally healthy attitude towards healthy body parts.

Seeing a male walking around with comically large mockeries of my most hated body parts? It would have fucked me up. Possibly to the point of dropping out of school, or indulging in self-harm. To be fair, I was showing signs of a mood disorder as a young child, so my experience is probably not representative of most teenage girls.

However, I think it's pretty obvious that a large number of girls do share my feelings on the subject at that age. Unlike me growing up in the 90s these poor girls are being affirmed in their mental illness. There's a fine line between treating a mental illness and making it worse in the long road. I definitely feel that transition, especially child transition, is way across that line into making it worse.

Feels bad, man.
