i dont understand.
On the shop's model picture (and, indeed on Contra) theres like, a whole extra third, of bare flesh, that seems to be entirely missing from Olly.. the top just joins up to the bottoms.

Yeah I'm not sure the intention was to style it as a one-piece; there's a strip of caution tape around the middle to disguise it and the buckles don't play nicely together.
Probably Tube got it made based off his measurements, but made-to-measure doesn't change the overall pattern, so if they ensured it fit his waist measurement, everything on the pattern got sized up and it didn't fit because he doesn't have hips so it was baggy. this is an oversimplification - pattern sizing is an art, but it's still going to be based off of expected dimensions and proportions of a woman But latex is stretchy, thus:

I can't decide whether he's delusional enough to think he looks good, or whether there's an element of humiliation fetish in wearing something that makes him look that manly. When he wore men's clothes he looked like a generic doughy YouTuber, but the contrast with women's lingerie makes him look ten times more masculine than he ever did before.
Making other people see that much of the choob should be a crime against humanity. I can't believe he's willing to wear that in public.

Before you ask, yes I nearly made myself ill doing this. I put him in boxers just for my own sanity (and to be honest I'm questioning my sanity for having done this, but it was a slow day at work). Basically a pretty regular bloke, effectively the same body he had pre-transition except maybe slightly more fat and less muscle.

Ok, I don't really want to get too off topic but this isn't really true, Lenin, and other orthodox Marxists, really didn't like wastrels like drunks and other outcasts on the fringe of society, in Marxism these people tend to be considered Lumpenproletariat and are seen as unproductive and unable to be organized into a useful force for revolution, sometimes actively fighting the proletariat or damaging them through things like petty crime.
The Soviet Union was actually quite socially conservative, especially as time went on. In the earlier years there was more acceptance towards things like homosexuality than you previously had and there were various efforts to elevate the role of women, but it was far from progressive as a lot of people like this would understand it themselves, kooky sex weirdos weren't tolerated or celebrated, and they certainly did not have much time for troons beyond treating them as a medical oddity. In most communist countries they went to extensive efforts to massively reduce things like prostitution and get women involved in that world into more respectable occupations and made some fairly conservative sounding arguments for doing so.
The current trends that you describe in big chunks of the western left have more relation to the more idiotic and cracked out Anarchist movements than Marxist ones, and Marxists and Anarchists have traditionally fucking hated each other. Anarchism, unsurprisingly, has always been popular with people who transgress for the sake of transgression and don't have a tremendously developed political mindset beyond Fuck You Dad. Moreover, there's some particular trends in queer theory that, especially recently really goes hard in on the idea that breaking convention and taboo is in itself a social good in basically every circumstance that leads to revolutionary, positive change. A lot of this is based on some very selective readings about the successes of the gay rights movement that harshly rejects the boring, buttoned up people who actually did make a lot of progress by telling the public that not all gays are freaks and most just want to do normal things like get married and get on with their lives, instead they put excessive focus on the transgressive and violent elements of the gay movement (see their obsession with things like 'Stonewall was a riot' or 'Be Gay do Crimes'). I think this is why so, so many troons you come across on the internet are usually anarchists, and there can be a surprising amount of friction between them and orthodox Marxists who often argue that its immaterial bullshit that makes no sense and distracts people from wider issues to with class in favour of ultra individualist identarian nonsense.

Modern Marxists/leftists are people who marinated in academia's post-New Left flailing for purpose after the New Soviet Man [transphobic, rephrase -ed] didn't come into being as was assured. Marx/Lenin/Stalin/Mao/Pol Pot/etc. had no interest in narcissistic academic navel gazing or degeneracy for degeneracies sake because it "challenges" the hegemon. They want to rebel against the type of totalitarian state that leftist regimes created but they don't live there so they must rebel against the liberal regime as if it were totalitarian for the purpose of bringing about the totalitarian one re-imagined delusionally as a personal individual utopia.
Individual sex pursuits of any type have no real interest to them because it's the tree falling in the forest with no one around, their sex acts must be political acts because all acts are political acts but unless somebody knows you acted it's irrelevant. They maintain the collectivist thinking of the earlier groups in that being an individual with individual tastes is of no interest if you can't ascribe your identity to the standing of some group and thus elevate yourself by participation in the group. The proletariat was supposed to be one homogenized mass, that was what made communism "work" because you could know what everyone wanted since it was simple and minimal. Adopting identities as brands and consumer products is entirely inconsistent with the solidarity of a single class and central planning itself. Hence the degradation of the modern left into a "movement" in which everyone is entitled to live at the expense of everyone else with mandatory "respect" from the "system" where everyone involved attempts to adopt different group-based "identities" to differentiate themselves as individuals while rejecting the assumption that individuals do in fact exist and are the only agents.

So, I'm seriously confused by Tube's physique at this point. He really seems to have lost a fair bit of weight at this point in all parts of his body except his midriff. His face, arms, legs all seems slimmer but there's this block of pudge in the middle that just always stays the same. Some side effect of the hormones perhaps? Or am I just being fooled by camera trickery and plastic surgery?

There was some discussion in the SRS thread at one point about how a lot of MtFs (especially young transitioners) develop a body type with a huge fat torso and relatively skinny arms and legs. Kim Petras is a good example. Get a recent picture of him and at first glance he looks obese, but then use your hand to cover up just his torso on the screen, and you'll see normal-sized arms and legs. It's uncanny.
