I had to take some humanities credits in college and so took a drawing class because I like art. Anyway, we had to go to a certain number of grad students' on campus shows and it was a trip for my lil' STEM brain. All this one bitch did was take loads of little dirty plastic toys from garage sales and encase the whole lot in a brick of resin. It was done badly, unfinished, and there was zero attempt to arrange anything artfully. Anyway, people were asking her questions and her answers were such a hodgepodge of vocabulary. I'm not ignorant, I recognized her words but it made zero sense. I looked around and my classmates are just nodding gravely. One even asked some follow up question that used this same nonsense language. I remember thinking, y'all are just playing.
I mean, I'm just as bored with technically proficient still lifes as the next guy, but come on.
College humanities is a joke.

Edit to add: I just remembered the guest speaker that came to our class and her main art she did was having different apparati slowly dripping melted rosen (the stuff you put on violin bows) onto giant sugar cubes and other things. Giant installations. She built none of it.

I'm usually on the "nothing ever happens" boat when it comes to reddit and other anonymous "very true and honest real stories that just happen to fit into a fetish niche." But something rings true about this one. There was a tranny who rode my bus route many years ago. One of the artworks shows a tourniquet around the leg until it had gone black, along with a bucket of dry ice. Admittedly it's also showing using a hacksaw above the tourniquet but I think some of the BIID people do stuff like restrict bloodflow to the point the limb dies and then show up at ER so the doctors have to amputate.

HOLY SHITT I've been waiting for someone to talk about this person. What caught my eye was the filthy, kawaii artsyle but her account was too plagued for me to search more deeply. Never knew she was a troon, but well, with that kind of art it should've been obvious. No way a cis guy would have a style like that.

From what I've seen the teen that made this callout has been getting a LOT of backlash for this. Apparently the leg was amputated due to cancer, but don't take my word on that.

Still, pretty messed up comics and shit so I think that even if the accusations were false it's about time she got some attention. Sad to see yet another promising artist losing themselves to fetishes.

Can't wait for a comeback and a possible future thread. I'd have so much to say.

I'm pretty sure nobody on the internet knows what exactly happened, but what I have heard the most is that she harmed her leg and purposefully let the wounds become so bad (infected, necrotic) it needed to be amputated in the hospital. It is very unlikely she did the amputation part herself.

This goes to show how rotten to the core (figuratively and literally) the trans community is. Most of them are porn addicted and just escalating their behavior more and more. Even the ones who trooned out because of trauma or homophobia are likely to get sucked in because their echo chambers reward coomer behavior.

I forgot about the leg person getting a ~callout post~ until now. Everyone was getting so upset about "removing healthy body parts", but there's no difference between this and "gender affirming surgeries".

I saw some close friends over the holiday, of all ages (12 - 60+), all women. I had the pleasure of telling them all (except the child, who was mocking pronouns before this) what "trans healthcare" was all about. The oldest woman was the most eager to know more, and was already aware of dilators and Mulvaney. We're all oddballs, so it was nice sharing my morbid fascination with these ladies.

Even without the troon shield, in the US there just aren't psych beds available. The GYN might have gotten the cops to remove the troon if he were being unruly, but from there the police are likely going to release him like a hot potato. This isn't an inpatient psych physician (or an ED doc or even a hospitalist) with a hospital behind him. This is an outpatient GYN who is used to patients who come into a little office under their own power and go back out to their lives, patients who are rational, or crazy in the lady ways.

Doc should dictate a detailed note, including the "incontinence" and that, like he said, he assessed the skin as "entirely normal." (And still prescribed something; nice backbone.) If he feels like he absolutely has to let the patient back in, it's his responsibility to set boundaries. Tell the troon in writing he needs to empty his bladder before going to the exam room, and have a plastic urinal ready in case he "forgets."

There are plenty of resources to walk you through self-protection when firing a patient, but this GYN could also cop out with the truth: your skin is normal--you need Dermatology, Miss.
