Haha people have been spamming Leslie's posts with archives and screenshots of all the racist shit demanding that she be just as banned as Milo. Her reaction is "I'M REPORTIN U FOR HACKING / PHOTOSHOPPING TWEETS!!!"

I'm glad she still hasn't learned her lesson and responds to seemingly everything. Milo's twitter assassination might just turn into a murder-suicide.

Nah, she ain't getting banned. At worst, maybe suspended, but even then I highly doubt that'll happen, since she's a woman of color and all. And, I mean... in Twitter's defense, Milo has been suspended god knows how many times. They were just waiting for him to fuck up again. Although what Milo said to Jones was pretty fucking tame compared to what the trolls said, and I do not agree that he should have been banned because of his comments towards Jones.

She thinks that now that she has her fellow celebrities shilling for her as her Private Army, she can come back and resume the same nasty behavior that got her trolled in the first place.
 
Why can't these twitter idiots learn to use Tweetsave before giving her the links to the specific racist tweets ffs. They're just begging her to go back and delete them.

By this time (6 days) Ghostbusters II had made 41.6 Million Dollar in the US (= 80.8 in 2016) Ghostbusters 2016 is creeping around 61.5 Million (79.6 Worldwide).

Ghostbusters II had a budget of 37 Million (thats 71 Million in 2016) in other words, by this time Ghostbusters II was already in the black.
Despite the ongoing media campaign - and yes, it wouldn't surprise me that Leslie Jones twitter meltdown is part of that - Ghostbusters 2016 has just barely made 55% back.

"The secret life of pets" made nearly twice it's budget back after 6 days (sans foreign box-office). Now keep in mind that China won't show the film, a market which usually accounts to 1/5 of the world wide grosses.

In other words, I think the movie will barely brake even.

(*) In other words I know how to use, google, wikipedia, boxofficemojo and an inflation calculator.

I'd honestly be a little shocked if she was smart enough to do that, or self-aware enough to realize she needed to instead of just going "nuhuh not me dindu nuffin".

I have my doubts it will break even. It looks like it's going to lose money, but Sony has decided to double down and ride this thing out. They had such high hopes for this franchise that they have already approved a sequel to a film that at best, had a lackluster performance

I'm not sure if they've been tweetsaved or not, but Jigglyjogglers is right. I've clicked through to a couple and they're all still active so she's so stupid and angry she is just assuming all the tweets are photoshops instead of realizing they're hers. It's incredibly ironic because she calls her own tweets out as being stupid and not making sense.

Don't forget that the 144 million dollars is just the production budget. There's also AT LEAST another hundred million to take into account in advertising costs. This film will probably need at least over 250 million dollars worldwide to break even and I don't think it's going to happen.

Ghostbusters is set to see a drop of over 50% this weekend which is more than Sony would have expected and hoped for. Even this Leslie Jones controversy hasn't been enough to help the film's box office receipts.

Weird huh? It's almost likes films based entirely on spite don't tend to do well.

As much as I hate supporting weenery, I hope they keep at it because this whole thing has been far more entertaining to me than the movie could probably ever be.
