To further my point, nah this wasn't on the table. He said pretty early on in this shit show that he wanted the tranch completely discontinued. He wants revenge for not letting him keep his tard pet there. (Tbf penny has two so I think its only fair that paul has one.) He focused a ton on them being mean to her early on, barely mentioning the animals.
His first concerns were getting back at the tranch and making sure he didn't look like the villain and I'm not convinced he is fully aware how fucked financially he is at this point.

Honestly, I am siding with the Tranch over Bonnie on this. The only thing I hate more than troons is a backstabbing troon with a victim complex.

Bonnie was a co-founder, owned the land, and was in charge of the financial aspects of the Tranch. Even if he wasn't one of the direct causes of the many problems with the Tranch (and he absolutely was), he had every opportunity in the book to stop it. If he wanted to, he could have kicked them off the land; the second the mistreatment of the alpacas became obvious. But he didn't; instead, he just chose to remain and start to dig the massgrave himself.

Even if he couldn't stop the problems, he could have said "I'm not ok with this" and fucked off and informed people of the reality of the Tranch. But he didn't, he chose to stay and do nothing to better the situation. The only reason he eventually left was because nobody else on the Tranch wanted to play into his extremely mentally ill girlfriends make-believe, which was probably the one good decision that the Tranch made.

Only after that did he start his quest to destroy the Tranch, all while vilifying Penny and making himself into the victim and downplaying his involvement. Fuck that, if I lived on the Tranch I'd probably trash it too before I left.
