The issue here is excess. A cheeseburger for dinner is fine if you had a reasonable lunch and breakfast. An energy drink to kickstart your day? Fine. But he’s so deep into his insane habits that he probably thinks exclusively drinking energy drinks and eating only meat, cheese, carbs, and butter is normal.

I was doing this for the past couple years (until January this year). I'm young and I could feel it taking its toll on my heart and arteries. There's no way he does not have any sort of pain since he's been doing it at a higher volume and over a longer period of time. An excess of anything is going to kill you, caffeine, salt, grease, and all that fat he ingests probably should have killed him by now. He's lucky (or unlucky I suppose) to be alive at this point.

I can get that hospital food sucks as I figure it's probably the same kind of production of a 3 star hotel complimentary breakfast but mediocre scrambled eggs are still something you can quick throw in your gullet. They've learned that they have to give him grease. If they don't lather up enough grease onto his food, he starts shrieking like Eric Cartman. That's probably why they had to shut the door on him.

It's already an appeasement meal, I did get a laugh out of the egg slug and bacon from earlier.
Apparently Tennesee food really boils down to "biscuit, country gravy".

That indian food may have been the last "diversity" Jack will ever encounter.

You can barely make it out, but it looks like there is a menu there on the left side of the picture and its says "eggs" twice on it. Though one is "scrambled eggs" and the other is cut off but shorter so it might be something like Vegan or Just Eggs. The eggs on the plate are clearly two different consistencies.

Jack probably ordered double eggs in order to avoid yucky fruit or vegetables. And being two different kinds of eggs and two different portions, the nursing home kept them separate on the plate. Jack's brain just forgot he did that.

He still got orange juice, coffee, and what looks like a side of oatmeal/grits/whatever. He's getting plenty of food that any normal sized human would consider reasonable or possibly even "a lot" for a breakfast, but he's throwing tantrums because it isn't covered in cheese so he's missing a food group. they're probably trying to get a minimum amount of grease and fiber in his system so he can start shitting normally. There's absolutely no way Fatty could be having anything resembling a normal bowel movement with his 10,000 calorie a day diet of meat and cheese.

While that doesn't look like a gourmet meal or anything (sausage looks too dry and eggs are overcooked), for nursing home food that is about as good as it gets. And unlike Jack's own cooking, it's definitely not undercooked.

My aunt stayed in a nursing home after a surgery and it sounds like hell. Her roommate died while she was there. I'd probably rather off myself than live in one for more than a short time period
