It's very typically pseudointelectual of her to see a phrase like "honest narrator" and think "Wait! I've heard of something similar to that called an unreliable narrator! That's obviously what they meant to say!!!" instead of just taking the words to mean what they actually mean.

It's also ironic that someone with an anxiety disorder doesn't understand why "lived experiences" are not a good measure of reality. By definition, anxiety disorders are maladaptive responses. They're as "real" to the person experiencing them as believing they're Napoleon is to someone having a psychotic break, but neither is based in objective reality and indulging that version of "reality" further entrenches it.

One side thinks it's normal to take Tumblr seriously, thinks "fake goth" is worse insult than the word "bitch", thinks shrieking about people who don't give a rat ass whether you live or die for months or even YEARS on end is a reasonable thing to do, proudly boasts of downing entire medicine cabinets just to stay sane, and thinks shitposts on a forum are a matter of life and death.

Yeah, compared to that, we're pretty damn normal.
 
The revolution's never going to come at this rate. They're all too incapacitated by their anxiety disorders and other "disabilities" to leave their homes.
