Can confirm. Minor power level: Had a small herd of dairy goats for many years. Goats were an absolute joy and I absolutely miss them every day (goats are some of the best people you'll ever meet). But dehorning -- which is an incredibly miserable thing for all involved -- is necessary to prevent much worse miseries. It's the only part of having goats that I don't miss at all.

Watching how these ambulatory pieces of shit mistreat their animals just makes me wish for a return to the days of public flogging.

I can't speak for Colorado but in California similar regulations exist and I've never seen the state even attempt to enforce them. You'd have to do something like burn down your house because you wired your lights wrong before the state would step in, either that or have a truly massive operation with no permits whatsoever. What is more likely to screw them wrt the government is the IRS at tax time. Also, you don't run grow lights 24/7, you run them 18 hours on 6 hours off until you're ready to flower the plant, then you switch to 12/12 which triggers bud growth. You'd only run grow lights 24/7 if you have like 3 grow rooms and you're staggering the on/off times to reduce the total load you're putting on the electrical system at any given time. It does use a shitload of power and it also generates an insane amount of heat (which can necessitate installing air conditioners to keep the temperature in the grow room low enough for your plants to thrive, increasing the power draw).

Nobody should post pictures of their food. Movies and commercials have people whose job description is "making food look nice on camera." If you're not one of them, it's going to look like slop even if it's decent.

This really isn't true anymore with modern cell phones, they basically automate what you used to have to be a good photographer to pull off now. Their food just still looks bad even with the help of very advanced computers.
