Seriously I'd almost rather take my chances on bleeding out than get a transfusion of some pozzed fucking AGP's contaminated blood, even if it's clear of STD's (big fucking IF) it's gonna be loaded with exogenous estrogen and fucking soy. Is it a significant risk for a tranny to donate blood based solely on their being on HRT? I've tried looking into it, but I couldn't get a solid answer.
It seems cross-sex blood transfusions are fairly common, so maybe the wonky hormone balance is too insignificant in comparison to the benefits of the transfusion. But apparently the hormones of a pregnant women's blood could kill a man, though I doubt a male tranny would be carrying such hormones, since it'd kill him too.
Also, has the risk of AIDS and other diseases that male homosexuals collect been dampened significantly enough for the change in blood donor policies to be justified?
My gut would say no. Even if AIDS in particular has been made insignificant, male gay culture seems to be a roiling pathogenic petri dish. Isn't it pretty much inevitable that something else (like monkeypox) will spread among them?

A trans-identified male who claims to be the “mother” of two “trans kids” testified before a Minnesota House Committee in favor of Minnesota becoming a trans refuge state for people seeking out-of-state medical sex changes. The biological male has a trans partner as well as two children who are involved in gender identity.

“My name is Amber Mom; I use she/her pronouns,” began the male who identifies as a woman and a mother. “I am also a proud transgender woman. But more importantly, I am the mother of two wonderful transgender and gender-expansive children.”

Amber described the “torrent of damaging, ill-informed, and outright malicious legislation being introduced across the country” as reason for Minnesota to become a “safe haven” for transgender individuals and parents seeking experimental sex changes for their children. This would align Minnesota with California in being a "sanctuary state" for "trans kids."

The proposed bill to turn Minnesota into a trans refuge state was put forward by trans-identified male Rep. Leigh Finke. The legislation seeks to prevent “out-of-state laws from interfering in the practice of gender-affirming health care.”

“Minnesota is a state that prides itself on providing world-class health care, but as extreme anti-trans legislation appears in numerous states, including our neighbors, Minnesota must also become a safe harbor for those seeking gender-affirming care,” said Rep. Finke.

House File 146 would turn Minnesota into a trans refuge state by protecting trans people, their families, and medical practitioners from legal repercussions for traveling to Minnesota to receive sex change interventions including experimental puberty blockers for children.

The testimony went on to reveal that Amber’s partner is also transgender.

“My trans partner and I frequently discuss plans to flee the country, if these targeted, hateful bills keep being introduced or passed,” said Amber.

Like many transgender adults who transitioned later in life after becoming parents, Amber advocates for gender-confused children to have their puberty blocked and their fertility destroyed.

“As someone who started transitioning well into…adulthood, I know better than most how essential and life-saving gender-affirming medical care is,” Amber testified. “Going through natal puberty was a traumatizing experience for me. I am so grateful that trans and gender expansive kids have access to the knowledge and medical care to be their full selves and thrive.”

Amber felt that legislation that prohibits doctors from performing experimental sex changes on children was “barbaric and morally repugnant.”

However, several nations have now banned medical sex changes for minors after systematic reviews of the evidence for puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones found that the risks far outweigh any perceived benefits. Sweden and Finland now only offer puberty blockers and hormones in the strictest of research settings and England is expected to follow suit upon completion of an independent review of its gender services.

The president of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) recently admitted that social contagion is a factor driving many young people to adopt a transgender identity, and soon-to-be published research shows that the rate of detransition and regret is far higher than gender-affirming care proponents claim.

A sobering statistic for you: by the time HIV was identified as the causative agent of AIDS and routine screening of donated blood for the virus became available in the 1980s, more than 90% of American hemophiliacs, nearly all of them men and boys, had contracted HIV from pooled blood products.

Hemophilia A, or classical hemophilia, the most common form of the disorder, is caused by several different mutations in a gene called F8, which is located on the X chromosome and encodes a protein called clotting factor VIII. This protein is present in plasma and is essential for normal clot formation. Severe hemophiliacs have blood factor VIII levels less than 1% of normal, meaning that in addition to bleeding excessively after injury, they experience spontaneous bleeding into their joints and muscles. This is actually the most common type of bleeding among severe hemophiliacs; it is extremely painful and over time, it causes permanent loss of range of motion and arthritic changes in the affected joint(s).

Clotting factor VIII can be extracted from donated blood and administered to a patient with hemophilia to prevent bleeding. This is commonly called "factor" treatment, and it has to be done frequently, anywhere from 3-7 times per week, for as long as the patient lives. This is where the problem arose in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It takes a shitload of donated blood, all pooled together, to make a dose of factor VIII - think like 50,000 donations for ONE factor dose. So, before we knew that HIV could be present in blood before a person showed symptoms, it was very risky to receive factor treatment, because of how many donors with unknown viral status were involved each time. Hemophilia patients were truly playing Russian roulette with five rounds in the chamber every time they received factor.

These days, donated blood is extensively screened for a bunch of nasties, including HIV, and there are other treatment options for severe hemophiliacs. Since 1992, recombinant factor VIII has been available, which is manufactured without using any human blood or blood products . A monoclonal antibody drug called Hemlibra (emicizumab) was approved in the United States in late 2017 for use in patients with hemophilia A that had become resistant to other treatments, and in early 2018 for all patients. Even more mind-blowingly, Roctavian, the first gene therapy for hemophilia A was approved in the European Union last June. While not fully curative, it was found to reduce bleeding by 85% in clinical trials, and most recipients no longer need factor.

F for all of the largely overlooked men and boys who died of AIDS after contracting HIV from the factor VIII that was supposed to save their lives.
