Non-denoms are a tragic mixed bag. Most non-denoms form due to not wanting to deal with the dramas that come with large church conglomerates with doctrine laid out by people who aren't regular attendees. This doesn't mean that we hate organized religion (and the psyop campaign against it is a whole other story) but rather that they dislike internal fighting and don't want to submit to one institution or another.

On the good side, you'll find very involved churches that take good care of their membership, are very Bible focused, and take pains to check any new ideas that come through against scripture. These are usually in the South/rural communities, have membership derived from Baptist or ex Catholic members of many economic backgrounds, and start from very humble beginnings.

On the bad side, you find "liberal protestants", which is a general catch all term in Christian circles for a protestant sect which pushes a more flowery spiritualism and not Christianity. These churches generally preach a very dishonest form of Christianity which conflaits a personal relationship with God (see: you do not need an intermediary to interact in the form of a Priest like in Catholism or East Orthodoxy or in the Old Hebrew faith, but rather you may speak with him and receive instruction personally, with the aid of your brothers and sisters) with a private relationship (see: whatever you do is between you and God). These are the churches Papists bring up when they talk of Protestants hosting Drag story time and gay flags on the building. These are usually Northern or Urban areas, have members from middle-upper class backgrounds, and are usually plants or have corrupted an existing Church.

While I doubt that Nick is in the worst of these kinds of liberal protestant sects, he is most certainly in a church which is very close to it. If the church is aware of his practices, I cannot imagine my church or any of the other good churches I have been to approving of that sort of behavior. There would, at minimum, be a severe sit down where the elder board and head pastor say "we know what you have been doing, why haven't you come to us? There is clearly a problem here, let us recommend a path forward." If there was unrepentance, more drastic action would have to be taken. Then again, this is all assuming his Church knows of his activities. Depending on his community, he might keep the reality of his job a secret.

I can personally attest to never being fond of him and getting flack for it on occasion. Both from my own personal knowledge of how dubbing works that made me well aware of why the weeb wars shit wouldn’t work, my calling that Kim Potter would be guilty, a contention that I had countless arguments with Nick fans over because Nick was very shocked they found her guilty, and the fact that I had called out his drinking and rambling years ago. For years I’ve felt the constant drinking and interrupting his show so he could go on tangents and retarded copy/paste toasts was ruining the show.

I did like things he said on occasion, and I’ve sent a super chat or two for the hell of it(never more than a dollar) but there was always a disconnect.

That said though, I don’t think he’s on the steep decline the thread is describing. He’s lower than he was before, but that’s because he split the audience with rumble and locals. YouTube was where his big money was. He didn’t build the merch empire crowder did, so a jump to rumble isn’t going to be as successful.

The other issue is that Nick got rich off of Kyle Rittenhouse and Johnny Depp, two very big trials within 12 months of each other. Barring some massive political scandal, there will never be a trial as large as those two were for Nick ever again. That’s just the nature of lawsuits. His drop in views and super chats isn’t even that when at peak times he can still clear in one night what many make in a whole month.

My pleasure in the decline is that for years he presented himself as a moral high ground traditional male and he ended up being a cuck into degenerate sex toys

In Minnesota, protestant churches are heavily Lutheran which follows a similar liturgical structure to Catholic mass. And they have better music :D I've been to a bunch of both kinds (where I grew up everyone was either Catholic or Lutheran) and it's all pretty much the same. Obviously there are major differences in the catechism but that doesn't really get brought up in a sermon. Might not be as such around the world but it is in small town Minnesota.

I would submit that the moral expectations of a Catholic are far more than that of a Lutheran. I dunno if you've ever read Catholic canon law, but it's pretty fucking hardcore in places. Lutheranism doesn't have a centralized code of conduct. It's generally left up to each church.

I'm not shitting on Lutherans here. I've got nothing against them, and I'm sure Nick is not a example of how most of them act. However, for a variety of reasons I won't go into here, it doesn't surprise me that Nick is no longer Catholic.

He put himself in a really difficult position and I think some of the other posters may be right when they say he's just gonna take a hit no matter what he does now. The thing with issuing some kind of apology or statement is it might increase the drama because it would increase the portion of his audience that knows about it, for one. You might have a lot of people who didn't know about this shit or barely knew any details who become more interested after seeing an apology for it. And you will also have a segment of his audience that will get mad that he apologized and sperg out potentially leading to more infighting.

I think the best course of action would be to just put a lid on all the coomershit and do regular content. If he doesn't feed the drama it should fade naturally. Oh and getting mad at Kiwifarms seems like a bad idea because this is explicitly a gossip website. If he can't be friendly towards it then he should just not mention it at all because talking about it will feed/create drama literally no matter what he says.

Also I agree with the people who said that just because he's starting to become a lolcow doesn't mean he won't still make a lot of money. This is more about how people will remember him and such, what his longer term Internet image will be like. Right now he's on track to be featured in dozens of "rise and fall" YouTube videos in a couple years.

Agreed. If money is an amplifier as people say, then it could be interesting to see how Nick progresses as a human being in the event he becomes more financially successful.

That said, I am not personally invested in Nick's long-term financial success/failure. Nick's conduct and character are far more worthy of attention regardless of financial standing. I maintain that if the most interesting thing about someone is their bank account, then they are a boring person.

Pulling up won't restore his reputation with the old fans at this point, we already know about the molly and gay underwear parties. However, we're a small percentage of the post-Rittenhouse audience, which is why you still have people constantly asking "what did Nick do now?" four months into the coom-spiral.

What pulling up at this point does do is stop the bleeding. The number of people who are even aware of what goes on in the Locals is tiny, and for all the hand wringing about the Farms, there's really only a few dozen people posting in this thread. Elissaclips and ClaireBere have subscription counts in the very low 4 digits. Even in drama land his story hasn't gotten much traction.

If he can successfully fold up his little pride flag and put it back in the closet where it belongs, and stick with content the larger audience actually wants, he can probably keep the majority of trial-stream watchers and boomer-cons in the dark and on-side. In addition to the online logistics and damage control that you mentioned there is Nick's chemical dependency to consider, and the long-term effects it can have on his brain. The more "experienced" individuals posting here have done a decent job detailing the effects of the drugs and alcohol Nick has been imbibing on/off camera.

Nick's overall functionality seems to be impaired somewhat, and its likely it will get worse if he persists in this way by making good on his pledge to "live" as much as he can for the next 14 years. It could be argued that some cognitive decline contributed to the Rittenhouse interview going the way it did. It's also a likely contributor to why became more public with his degeneracy throughout December, culminating in him wearing a multi-color tank top and outing Drexel as scam artist like the rest of the manosphere, complaining about his kids, and declaring that he's reached the pinnacle of Malsow's hierarchy and now all he wants to do is be horny. Nick's was honesty was refreshing, but also concerning.

Nick may find new platforms and subscribers, but he only possesses a finite amount of grey matter in his head. Activities that cultivate brain damage is not recommended. If Nick can get clean(er) then his chances for long term recovery should improve.
