Well they do take some psychology courses, mostly for learning about group therapy. Some places require you to earn a masters in it.
She was just the guidance counselor, right? Big difference between that and a school psychologist. At my schools the guidance counselors just helped you with your class schedule and shit; in high school they were there to help with things like getting your shit together for college applications etc. This is not a role that requires any credentials apart from maybe an associates degree in something gay.

It is if they know what they're doing. So far I haven't seen any in the public sector that do. The one at my daughters old school basically told us that Muslim kids should be able to basically rape children so I threatened to take our issue to the media and have him fired and that quickly changed the way he dealt with the sand nigger. I also made sure I recorded the conversation. After that I told them if their son ever went near my daughter their son would never find Mecca. She's now in a private school. Money well spent.
