'bout a week ago started watching Racket's stream again and reading this thread again. His stream honestly if you step away from it for a bit, doesn't really seem that different compared to how its been the last year tbh, not to the degree that this thread would lead one to believe.

I haven't watched his shows in a while, but this seemed to me to be a fairly standard Rackets interview. Outside of the part when they were making fun of the repeated inane gotchas Kyle will forevermore get that went on a bit too long, it generally went how I expected it to go. I've never thought of him as a particularly good interviewer on the details, but just someone who is good at talking to people and drawing out things that are interesting.

Could the interview have been more? Maybe, even probably. This is a genuine question: if you were looking to this show to see if Nick could still conduct interviews and you think that he fell short, what do you think he could have asked instead or in what way could he have conducted it that would have changed your mind?

He was a teenager who got dragged through an absolute nightmare of a process that should never have occurred, and not only is it painful to think back on, but he can't talk too much about it for fear of another nightmare starting. Outside of those experiences though, what is there to talk about?

I don't think Nick was ever only drinking during streams. If his drinking during streams has increased, then his drinking at other times has probably increased as well, making his decline almost inevitable. Adding drugs to the mix just accelerated it.
