IIRC someone else bought it.You know how back in 2021 or so there a short plot arc where the tranchers were buying an unfinished earthship? Did that ever resolve in any way, or just disappear?
Imagine being told by this fucker that you have low INT. I mean sky does but fuck, the deformed man-sprogling that calls itself bonny has no room to talk
I'm no livestock expert but I am fairly sure there are more than a few Federal (and State) laws against this kind of shit. And it's not as if people in the area wouldn't immediately know whose alpacas those are.
Sadly, there was no way to run the crematorium with only that wee tank of propane. They had a choice: Burrito Nights, or burn the bodies of the dead alpacas. Look at the size of Kevryn and you'll see the choice they made.I still can't believe they killed 6 million alpacas in such a short time truly monstrous.
that sounds like a Future Kevryn problemI'm no livestock expert but I am fairly sure there are more than a few Federal (and State) laws against this kind of shit. And it's not as if people in the area wouldn't immediately know whose alpacas those are.
That's a significant concern if you were continuing to live on the tranch and your neighbours could confront you about your loose alpaca. But if you were planning to skip town without leaving a forwarding address you might be tempted, especially if you were a petulant manchild with a long history of abandoning dependants and had been forced to admit defeat - and so the alpaca that you couldn't rehome were the only thing keeping you there, forcing you to acknowledge your failure every day. Doubly so if you reasoned you could create a mess and pin it on the person forcing you off the land, a traitor who undermined your cult.I'm no livestock expert but I am fairly sure there are more than a few Federal (and State) laws against this kind of shit. And it's not as if people in the area wouldn't immediately know whose alpacas those are.
No significant updates on this but the GFM is up to $6600 (of 25k) and word is getting around on Twitter.Since there’s a tranch radio silence in effect, I hope it’s ok to post occasional stuff about those promising nearby ranchers.
There’s another thread on Twitter with lurid memes about the alleged attacks.
There was a theory ITT that the donated alpacas might have been from other rescues/sanctuaries so I checked to see if Phil mentioned who they got them from. The way he says it, it doesn't sound like a rescue but it does provide another corroboration I missed earlier for the 2020 90+ donation. It's also the highest number I've ever heard him quote the herd at, 200, though I assume he's rounding up.That's why they're taking so long, and probably why they'll likely just kill all the remaining alpacas. They're trying to find a rescue organization that won't tattle.
It wouldn't be a good idea but nothing these idiotic troons do has been.It would still be a bad idea as they have terrible infosec and a mass alpaca release would probably result in actual consequences coming after them (plus Bonnie reads the farms so would find out Penny's new address). But these are not smart people, they're impulsive hedonists and the appeal of "if we abandon the alpaca we can start our new life tomorrow where everything will be sunshine and rainbows, I want to do that now instead of waiting to get rejected by more alpaca rescues"
C.R.S. § 33-1-106(3)(c) (2020).(c) Captive wild mammals and alternative livestock which have escaped from an owner's control may be removed from the wild by the division of parks and wildlife at the owner's expense, but not sooner than seventy-two hours after the division has given the owner or his designee actual notice of such escape, or the owner has notified the division of such escape. The amount the division of parks and wildlife may charge an owner shall be limited to actual costs incurred by the division to accomplish such removal, subject to further limitation by the following maximum caps:
(I) For native wildlife and for nonnative or exotic wildlife, one thousand dollars per animal not to exceed in the aggregate five thousand dollars per incident; and
(II) For prohibited species, no maximum cap per animal and no maximum cap per incident.
It's really happening... feels bittersweet.ATTENTION, TROONICORNS!
The tranch account has broken its silence with the news that since they are “moving”, they will be closing the online store. Temporarily. They’ll be back mid summer. However, if you really want merch, you can pull up to the Tranch. [A]

Nobody else has said anything, unless you count Bonnie’s reply to a video of a man (understandably) screaming in an airport because they lost his dogs. [A]

Hope they had their windows up.
The only people I've known who kept alpacas was either as a pet or as a hobby that maybe made a little money. I could imagine making money but you'd almost have to be an expert at every single phase of production and not produce just raw yarn but finished products (and high quality ones at that).Based on everything I've read in the thread over the last couple of years, Alpaca in general seem to have a net-negative economic value, and are only appropriate as perhaps a single livestock guardian or essentially as outdoor family pets for non-farmers who live on a large plot of land.
