Lisa Marie Presley was rushed to a hospital Thursday after officials responded to her home for a cardiac arrest, according to reports.

TMZ reported that paramedics performed CPR on Presley and were able to regain a pulse before she was transported.

A spokesperson from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department tells The Hollywood Reporter that deputies responded to the 5900 block of Normandy in the city of Calabasas for a female in her 50s that suffered a cardiac arrest. The spokesperson added that the fire department responded and was able to get a pulse on the female and that she was transported to West Hills hospital.

The spokesperson would not confirm if the person was Presley, who will turn 55 next month.

Presley, a singer-songwriter, is the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Along with her mother, Presley attended Tuesday night’s Golden Globes and cheered on Austin Butler as he won the best actor award for his portrayal of Elvis in the Baz Luhrmann-directed film.

Presley is the mother of three children, including actress Riley Keough.

She has released three albums, including the gold-selling To Whom It May Concern in 2003, 2005’s Now What and 2012’s Storm & Grace.

Presley has been married four times. She was married to Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, Danny Keough and Michael Lockwood.

I think you're severely overestimating your awareness of illness/death events just because you've heard a smattering of famous people get sick and/or die recently.

Ive been following many accounts on Twitter showing many average Joes dying suddenly, many of who are young. Lots of these celebrity deaths have been heart related recently though and that can't be ignores.
 
The dumbest shit I've seen regarding this is people saying this was "genetic" because Elvis died of a heart attack at 40. An obese drug addict had a heart attack on the toilet because of genetics.

And that's versus how many people that normally die daily?

There's a difference between something unusual brewing and you (or others) incidentally becoming more aware of something that's the norm/a slight deviation from the norm. It's not as if "young" people, or people in average health, haven't ever went into cardiac arrest (a designation that only reports the heart stopping) or died unexpectedly. It's unusual, and only in some cases is it discovered that they had something unknown that affected their health, but it's not unheard of.

This could be the product of abnormal blood clotting. It could be the product of myocarditis. And either of those things could be the product of some COVID vaccine.

It could also be literally anything else. We barely have any information as it stands. But this insinuation of "vague circumstances" == "must have been heart issues" == "must have been the vaccine" is outright weaselly. In fact, it's as weaselly as claiming a "death with COVID" as a "death by COVID".
 
Uggh She looks like shit! Maybe she is back on drugs, she certainly isn't well. Not side-stepping the vax, but, her son blew his brains out 2 yrs ago..
maybe she just cannot take life anymore?

Dying on the toilet eating deep fried peanut butter sandwiches in middle age sounds a lot better to me than dropping dead at the age of 18-20 like a vaccinated athlete,
 
I've read she was quite the cokehead in her younger years, and Priscilla got her into the Scientology drug program. Lisa credited them for getting her clean, but left Scientology years ago.
Wonder if the coke use damaged her heart in some way?
