A man has been taken into custody near the Pocono Mountains in connection with the homicide of four University of Idaho students.

Bryan Kohberger, 28, is the person of interest in custody in Monroe County, Pa., sources confirm to NBC10's Deanna Durante and Brian Sheehan.

Further circumstances regarding the nature of the arrest and the suspect's capture are not yet known. Kohberger appeared in front of a Monroe County judge around 8:30 a.m. Friday, sources tell NBC10.

The Nov. 13 killings of the four students -- Madison Mogan, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin -- left their community of Moscow, Idaho in shock and garnered attention nationwide.

Police say the four were stabbed to death in an off-campus house rented by the three female students in the middle of the night, some with wounds that suggest they fought back against their attacker. The investigation to this point has largely come up empty. Two roommates on the first floor who police say slept through the attack have already been ruled out as suspects.

A press conference is scheduled in Moscow, Idaho at 4 p.m. ET.

Yeah I can’t wait to find out what the hell happened here I mean imagine being asleep at your most vulnerable point and some psycho just starts stabbing you to death. Sad way to go.

If he really is the killer then sure. But until we see what evidence they have he is just a suspected murdering psycho. He may be innocent although most DAs would not risk it if there wasn’t something concrete here. Maybe I dunno.

I wonder if they used cellphone records or something. I’m curious what led them to him, even if he’s actually innocent.

I cannot remember his lesser degree, but he has a Masters in Criminal Justice. I actually found a bit more, but will add more later, site is wonky for me right now.
 
They will never find the killer unless someone confesses.

Ever had to get fingerprinted for a job or anything? "Oh, I messed up. Try again. Try agian, Try again, One more time, Try again. Try agian."

Even getting arrested is a pain. "Do it again. Do it again. One more time. Do it again"

So you're telling me you can get a criminal's fingerprints off a door knob but you can't get my fingerprints when I'm placing my finger on a machine that is designed to take fingerprints?

Smells like bullshit to me.
 
Maybe it's just my complete distrust of the MSM, but something doesn't seem right about this to me. Maybe he did it, maybe he didn't.
 
It's gonna be another zodiac killer case where they never find the killer and he take his secret with him to the grave, unless a family member finds their secret and goes to the press about it.
