A empire waist (waist gathered right under the breasts) would suit him better. It would be more relaxed over the stomach and help hide those rolls. Anything clingy is hard for anyone not model proportioned to pull off. Positive ease (the amount of extra space in a garment) is the best thing that ever was invented for chubby women. He's not a woman, obviously, but if he's going to dress like one he needs to play by fat girl rules.

The tights are okay for casual wear, but for a professional event they should be nude or maybe black/navy (only if wearing dark colors) - assuming you wear any all. Thankfully most places have gotten rid of the rules that say professional women must wear panty hose. A more frustrating and pointless garment has yet to be invented. I'd rather wear a tie than panty hose, and I'm positive every other woman would agree with me.

Ankle boots, not hiking boots or sneakers. Ballet flats are acceptable, but professional women often still wear heels as part of their dress code expectations. Giving a talk like that a lot of women would automatically opt for flats because comfort is important. It's hard to keep your train of thought when your feet are throbbing.

In my experience - as a woman in a highly conservative industry and workplaces for a long time - you're clutching pearls too hard here. It's tech, Fong is there to talk about lifestyle/personal topics, and in fact the whole point of the event is lifestyle-related. Casual is fine. Even funky is fine. You don't need to show up looking like the Chief Legal Officer giving a presentation to unhappy regulators.

There is no excuse for wearing slinky material and a too-small thong on stage with no spanx/skins/hose/1953 girdle to manage that overhang, however - and that's a completely gender-neutral observation, btw. Defined lumps, bumps, rolls, or any particular body part is a no, and far worse an affront than ankle boots with dresses* generally.

Today I learned the medical name for these humps is kyphosis and it is one of the known long-term medical consequences of castration in males. It’s due to osteoporosis (thinning/brittle bones) and is also seen in elderly women- the vertebral bodies in their spines collapse in on themselves leading to the hump. So these castrated males not only are NOT women, they’re also fucking themselves over medically.
