Either way, it's bad.
- If NATO does nothing, it'll only give more power to Russia, and will make them seem unreliable since they're abandoning a loyal NATO ally.
- If they do something, then, well, you know.

Clearly the only response possible is to send more money to Israel Ukraine.

I feel like i'm reading the same headlines over and over. This whole happening in on a level beyond my understanding, i know there is conflict, i can speculate why but that's it.

I remember the Happenings, 2022 / The sounds of that shitshow still haunt me to this day /Trash cans, top hats from enemy lines
The sickening sound of a puzzle piece tearing through self esteem/The janny next to me dropping Semper Fi's in desperation/All these badges still echo in my mind/And as conducted by Sam Losco himself it all comes together as music

A rhythm of Seethe
A symphony of Cope
A moment of silence for all the Jannies who hung themselves dealing with this on social media. They did it for free.

Except that any Russian missiles fired at Lviv would need to come from Russia, but probably Belarus. Which is a different direction, rather than an overshoot.
That's a good point I didn't consider. I don't know what type of missiles these specifically were but it's definitely more likely they were launched from Belarus. Any they'd presumably launch from Russia itself are way too valuable for a simple infrastructure strike.

Another working theory that may explain this is that these were actually Ukrainian S-300 missiles which were launched to protect Lviv from cruise missiles but missed their intended target. It could be an accident.

S-300 do have a ground attack mode, so that scale of damage to where they land is not unexpected.
It's certainly a plausible explanation, I'll be interested to hear more as it becomes available. Either way it's clearly an accident.

Even the BBC is giving airtime to it being of unconfirmed origin and that both sides use the same missile system.

Mark Cancian, from think tank CSIS, believes it may be from an S-300 system. This type of missile is typically used for surface-to-air attacks, and has been used by both Russia and Ukraine throughout the war. "Who fired the missile is unclear," says J Andrés Gannon, a security expert at the US Council on Foreign Relations, who agrees that it may be from an S-300 system. "We know Russia has been using the S-300 for ground attacks even though it’s an air defence system, but Ukraine also uses them for air defence against cruise missiles." Dr Justin Bronck, a senior fellow at think tank Rusi, agrees that it may be from an S-300 system, but there isn't enough evidence to identify it yet.

Probably just a miss fire by the Ukes at this point if it is identified as a surface-to-air anti-missile system.

WW3 on hold, again. Sorry war coomers.

NATO will eat the losses and sweep them under the rug to avoid a direct hot war with Russia
