Ralph's claim he was the "figurehead" of Gamergate really isn't accurate. He was a big name but not a leader. Most of what was done in GG was done by anonymous people on /v/ and reddit coordinating and planning things anonymously without leaders. The closest thing to a real figurehead would ironically enough have been Metekor (then known as Internet Aristocrat). He was the one making the 100,000+ view videos and had the most reach.

Like much of the history revolving around Ralph, Daddy Jim was the one that guided a bunch of traffic to theralphretort.com in the first place. Then he'd go on the killstream and people would show up to see him. Any success that Ralph ever had was because Jim directed his fans over to him which is why Ralph hates him so much now. It was all because he stopped going on the Killstream and wouldn't help prop his gunt back in the cool kid's club.
I wonder if Ralph regrets holding off on screaming at him for as long as he did. There were at least a couple of years where Ralph had to quietly seethe about Jim ignoring him but was too afraid to call him out. Looking back it sure makes Ralph look like a scared little bitch.

i challenge even the idea that he was a big name, i think thats just an example of ralph lying about a bigger thing to haggle himself down to a still undeserved lower one. iirc he was only on big streams because he wormed himself on or networked desperately and if bryan dunn is to be believed even his biggest involvement besides the massive optics L of being jailed and tanking the movement and forcing people to disavow him (which he still holds grudges over years later as if youre supposed to tank your movement to save his one self tarnished personal rep and go down with the gunt) was hijacking some gaming stream or some social meet up to last minute make jim "interviewed" by badgering him with questions.
no in gg all he was was some minor minor side character that no one knew about until he made a big enough mistake that it was an objective loss for the side he leeched on and an objective win for the side smart enough to tell him to kick bricks.

It's funny but I don't actually remember anything about Ralph from the actual Gamergate days. I remember watching Sargon a lot back then and Metokur but I don't think I ever actually watched a killstream, still haven't watched one fully. I suppose it's personal but when I think of people that I followed during GG it was Sargon, Metokur, Chris Ray Gun and like fucking Vee. I didn't really find out that much about Ralph until he had like his corn meltdown because of Jersh's MATI streams. It was all so long ago I don't really think back that much to then.
I suppose for Ralph though GamerGate was the last time he was truly happy so, guess it makes sense he can't move on. He's like the fat mechanic who still wears his Letterman jacket even though it's three sizes too small and he's cresting 43 but still somehow more pathetic.

He pretty much just hollered a lot, and I think was involved in some gay ops with the /ggrevolt/ board on 8chan because he was mad /v/ and /gamergate/ wordfiltered his blog links (he was spamming links to every single new article and shitting up the threads)

As someone who didn't follow Gamergate closely, I can tell you I never saw Ralph's name come up. Milo and Sargon were the only names I could associate with it.

I love how Ralph always tries to flex with "I made more money than you in blah blah than you did in blah" when he's resorted to streaming for fucking hours on end just to make enough to make it worth it.
If you add up what Ralph makes he is poor as shit, trying to make out he's a high roller.
I probably paid more tax last year than Ralphs entire net worth.
In fact I'm fucking certain I did.
I literally wouldn't get out of bed for what Ralph can pull in on a 14 hour stream.

Don't forget that Jim took a bunch of his more tribalistic and mentally-handicapped fans with him when Ralph declared him a blood enemy. There are still to this day people who cannot think for themselves and need internet daddies to tell them who to be a fan of, people who were avid fans of the Killstream for so long because Daddy Jim never told them to stop watching.
I know a guy, (TR1GG3RP01NT, or whatever he goes by now) who was a massive fan of the Killstream to the point where he would tweet garbage shit about Null being a pedophile to Ralph to get asspats. Dude remained a massive Guntlicker despite being doxed by Ralph's incompetence twice, and being made fun of by me and some others for seeking approval from a lolcow like Ralph. But as soon as Daddy Jim made fun of Ralph, he turned into a Ralph a-log.
