The politics chat has really been eye opening for me the past year- and I really feel like it is one of, if not the last places on the internet left to be able to find out what is really happening anymore. I know I came late to the party and don't have anything of value to really add, but this place really did feel like old SA or even just hearing the old guys talk in the diner after school back in the early 90's... and it felt in a strange way like home. It is more than nostalgia though. I am named the same on poast with no spaces and no matter what, I hope to be able to join you all, no matter where you end up. Best $20 bux I ever spent.
 
I just want to say that even though I haven't post in this thread a lot I do lurk. I really appreciate this thread. It's a place where freedom of speech exists along with well researched takes. I hope it continues in some form or that Josh keeps Kiwifarms up. Let me know if there is an alternate place to continue these discussions.

Saw a post in the thank you thread hypothesizing something was recently dug up which spooked a few of the upper management powers that be, an idea not completely farfetched considering the coordinated rapidity at which this site has been kicked around of late.

I hope normal hosting can return once again (just because some Tor nodes are slow as hell), but if not going leet darkweb is a reasonable sacrifice to shitpost freely.

they go over it better than I can, but only reason, privacy wise, to use a vpn->tor is you dont want your isp knowing or it is illegal to use tor in your country. Having said that, you can set it up to be more secure. If you are just using TOR for the farms adding a VPN isnt necessary IMO.

This is absolutely what happened. Taylor Lorenz's article was published within minutes of CloudFlare redirecting the website to a page with the sole purpose to defame us. CloudFlare also reacted within minutes of Keffals making his fedpost, Tweeting the screenshot, then deleting it. Accomplishing this within such a short time frame required coordination between Keffals, Ms. Lorenz, and Matthew Prince.
sure, this site has a lot of inconvenient, verifiable information for the cathedral, which is they need to test this new frontier of censorship. However, most importantly, all three individuals who coordinated their actions had an axe to grind with KiwiFarms. Andrew was sick of being painted as a "Nazi sympathizer," Ms. Lorenz has a thread that documents her journalism hypocrisy, and Keffals is a fat eunuch.

That being said, I don't think this is a left-wing thing in preparation for the midterms. This thread contains the most information that'd be inconvenient for leftist but it's not even accessible for lurkers that aren't logged it. I really hope @Gehenna joins us here. It was really nice to hear about things from him before they "officially" happened.
