Note on the Blocked and Reported podcast: They didn't cover keffals on their latest episode, but their producer said they're doing research for the story and co-host Jesse Singal had this to say in the podcast's subreddit:

"fwiw I was following the thread to research our next ep, which as I type it sounds like "I read Playboy for the articles," but for real.
There definitely WERE NOT those sorts of direct threats. It was a ton of shit-talk, mockery, genuinely transphobic rhetoric, etc., but there just weren't violent threats, or at least none I saw. Very weird situation."

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have some sort of method for distinguishing users that haven't posted in a while and being able to flip a "Fedpost Firewall" switch that makes inactive account posts go through approval first when tensions are high.

I honestly believe that the accounts making these obvious fedposts are in fact "Crisis accounts"

A Crisis account is a word I made up to describe this crap, its essentially an account that remains dormant until a significant event to the farms happens. When this event happens, the account becomes active and makes a fedpost in order to intentionally get the site more backlash. It could perhaps just be edgelords, but this has happened twice now, also notice that the "Musky" account was only active before in the Christchurch thread and also made a fedpost.

I get that asking to be doxed is meant to be a sort of brazen show of courage or solidarity, but at the same time doesn't it undermine their whole narrative of KiwiFarms being a dangerous forum because it provides easy access to people's private, personal information?

Like, being so confident that even if you yourself are doxed, no harm will come to you does at least somewhat trivialize the notion that Keffals had to flee from Canada to Ireland for their own safety because of the posts and alleged actions of users on this site.
