I’d like to take a moment to congratulate My girlfriend on her STUNEEEN handling of Amber’s YouTube channel.

This morning I did a search on my mobile device in the YouTube app for “Amberlynn Reid”, and only about 1 out of every 10 videos were actually from her channel (and the top three results weren’t her). Switching the search criteria from ‘video’ to ‘channel’ yielded over 100 results that weren’t her.

When searching for Amberlynn Reid, THIS channel actually came up before hers:

if so, look at this interview Whitney gave after passing out at the dance marathon (she went to the ER where the doctor told her she seriously needs to watch her heart health). this was her response and it’s shockingly close to amber’s response to her wolking incident…

…love how bolth of them use the exact same pattern of logic, i.e. “could happen to ANYONE”/“my weight had nothing to do with it”/“I lost weight x amount of weight”/“it’s my mental health” and so on. the mental health bolthers me the most tho bc neither of them takes therapy, medication, or the positive mental effects of just proper diet and exercise seriously, yet promote weight loss as their platforms. i have a hard time believing mental health isn’t important for sustained healthy living and weight loss…oh wait, that’s just us being fAt pHoBiC.

props where props are due tho, i am still awed by (and slightly jealous of) how well they can bolth dance and move! when amby did them leg raises on the ground, i gasped lol

This is really the one that bugs me the most. As someone working on losing weight, I have a few ways I think about my progress, but it's never EVER been a cumulative count from my highest weight. I'll describe periods where I've had more success, or talk about how much I've done within the past month or so, but I'm not gonna go out and say "I lost 75 lbs" because 3 years go I got really fat for a couple months. It's been a progression, some months I lose a bunch, some I lose nothing, some I've even gained, but if I stop losing, that's my new starting point.

I tried to find her channel the other day to read the comments on her community tab and finally gave up after not being able to find it. It's strange, I've watched (mostly listened) to a lot of reaction channels over the past few years, but not once have I ever been recommend an actual video from her channel.

She's also being encouraged to sue for the estrogen prescription the chemist told her she never should have gotten post hysterectomy. She had already decided not to take it anymore (after god only knows how long since she'd run out) because the pharmacist said it could make her cancer come back. Yet she went and picked up the refill when hearing it was available, and was gleeful when telling us she now had the name of the prescribing doctor. It matters not that she's done nothing to address the weight issue that prevents her from having the CT/MRI/PET scan to check her current cancer status. Jade Francis is pushing this as far as she can.

This sidewalk suit has me shaking my head, even though I expect it will be attempted. In Australia you can't sue the city for sidewalk falls even if there are gaping holes or massive tree roots poking out of them. As a pedestrian you are expected to watch where you walk and take some personal responsibility for your own safety. In Amber's case I can't imagine it would be worth the effort, given she would personally only benefit from the pain and suffering head of damage, and that would have to be minimal for a mere sprain. Given she only had an xray she can't even prove any soft tissue damage let alone "multiple torn ligaments". As others have said she's lost no income personally, and any medical costs awarded would go direct to the provider not her.

Is Amberlynn still doing paid shoutouts? I can't justify throwing any money her way, but the thought of her reading out Mary's Letter from Silent Hill 2 or Naomi's monologue from Metal Gear Solid kills me.
