A dead person cannot 'suffocate'. His body was oxygenated, then extubated....so became deoxygenated . To suffocate, a person (or animal) has to be actively breathing on their own in the first place - I hope that makes sense

As I've said i live in Southend you won't find many people who have anything nice to say about her and the entire family. They have caused people nothing but problems anti social behaviour, intimidation, harassment, the 2 sons are weapons grade cunts. The press have been pretty present around her dwelling there's been lots of people prepared to say the truth. Social services have been all over this family for years. Archie tried to commit suicide 2 days before it happened he was in hes bedroom with a dressing gown tie tied round hes neck hes sister stopped it that time.

He wasn’t vegetative, he was brain dead. Brain death is real death; they were just keeping his organs functioning artificially via machines. Vegetative is a state wherein a person is alive, but has no higher brain function (so some brain stem function, and that’s it. Archie didn’t even have that. His brain stem was dead and necrotic). You can’t suffocate a corpse, because it has no need to breathe. It’d be like suffocating a chair.
His body would have turned blue as the blood stopped circulating. This is a natural thing that occurs in all dead/dying humans (although it is disturbing to see, even if the person is already dead), and would have happened to Archie months ago had they not kept his blood pumping through artifical means. Archie was no more “alive” than tissue samples that are being kept alive in labs. His individual cells were alive, but he as a person was not.

He WILL have an autopsy and it will most likely say he died due to hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) caused by injury (accidental or suicide yet to be decided).

He was ruled dead by the High Court on June 13th, so anything that did or didn’t happen today is not going to be recorded as a cause of death. Not unless the registrar has a time machine.

Mate, he wasn’t in a vegetative state. His brain had turned to necrotic sludge. “It” (as in his body) was literally a corpse kept alive artificially.

That’s my point. This has nothing to do with consciousness. This is how he physically died, this is the cause of death. The life support was keeping a pulse despite his brain and organs rotting. There was no sign of life aside from what machines were doing for him - removal of them led to his recorded death.

What I don't get about religious prolifers is. If there's a god and there's a heaven why wouldn't you let this child go? His body was a fucking prison if that's the case. If his soul had already departed then the more the reason on why it's dumb not to let his flesh expire.

Irrespective of the theological argument on whether or not he committed suicide and therefore hell would await him. The bible has a soft stance on children

I work in hospice - even a very routine, ‘good’ end can be very traumatic for the family, which is why hospice care for the family (Bereavement services) continues after the patient has died. The body does things as it shuts down that don’t appear ‘dignified’. A big part of my job is preparing the family for what they may see. Only a few generations ago, people saw death all the time. Now we’re so separated, we think any death that doesn’t look like on tv is traumatic.

Before they remove someone from a vent with no expectation of surviving, they give them a cocktail of drugs to numb the part of the brain that would experience distress from lack of oxygen, just in case. If there was any part of him left that could feel distress, I’m sure he did not.

I wonder who of his family was there for Archies sake and not to go to the camera right after?
His half brother was not there apparently but his intended who barely knew him?
What about his half sister?
Why do you want to live stream your sons death? No one wants to remember your loved one like that...

Edit: death as I experienced it is always traumatic. The peacefullness I saw was after the death. Most dead people looked painfree, at peace, a little smile. But none of them was on life support so long like Archie
