Suffocation is one of the worst deaths you could ever experience. I have no idea why you would want to inflict that on your child willfully, even in an act of preservation. She knew enough that he needed that life support to survive and that it was only a matter of time before it got taken away. A morphine overdose would’ve been more preferrable.

It's not unusual to go into some detail about the basics of what happened. The blue comment is uncalled for but it makes sense given that it's followed up by them saying that it's barbaric - they're echoing what they've said before online and I think in court because their whole argument was that a planned death is shit and distressing

I don't know how they can say he suffocated, and it's barbaric,as that really isn't true. I had to do the same thing for my mum by letting them shut everything down with the ventilator last. She didn't suffocate at all purely for the fact she didn't take any breaths. Her passing was dignified and peaceful and she looked so at peace.

To be honest, I’m surprised we don’t see these stories more often. The vast majority of working class people are nothing like the chavs. They not only have extreme entitlement issues, along with an automatic need to rebel against anyone they see as an authority, they are also weirdly indestructible.
