No, that was his ticket to becoming more mainstream and he knew it that's why he hitched his wagon there, but the fact is that as much as he wants to be mainstream and featured on TV he doesn't want to stop fucking around and do the same shit he's always done, so he fucked himself over by trying to do both and ended up with neither.

Had to give up the Proud Boys to stay out of trouble, but the stank on him was too strong and conservative media didn't want to be guilty by association.

If Gavin had left the Proud Boys behind in 2016 he'd probably be a regular on Tucker's show.

To this day, I can't tell if this is sincere or a parody, but I'm leaning towards the latter. That BexRanner hearted a comment saying this video would motivate Trump to disavow the Proud Boys and replied to another comment by Sven Stoffels asking him to do an animated feature based on this video and sent it to Gavin McInnes as a "tribute" together strongly suggest this entire video was intended as an elaborate pisstake that confused the shit out of everyone.

The channel has other O&A uploads on it, so I'm assuming it's a genuine video that was stolen and re-upped to mock them. I can't imagine the two guys in the video actually got off light once the pests stumbled across it.

They didn't get off light in terms of how they were mocked in the communities they likely frequented. They DID get off light in that the culture at r/OnA was similar but different from KF in a few key ways. Namely, doxing really wasn't a thing. The sub was a perpetually drunken/stoned shitshow and hardly anybody bothered to even archive anything, let alone dox anyone - assuming anyone could have figured out how to do it in the first place, which most certainly could not have. If that sub had the same culture that exists in some places online today...damn dude, it would have been so brutal.

There really was no "stumbling across it" for us back then. It was right in our faces from day one. Back then Compound Media had TACS, Gavin Mccinnes' show, and Legion of Skanks and all three of these shows had a fuck ton of overlap in viewership and reddit faggotry. As soon as that shit hit the airwaves it was all over the place and the mockery was instant and brutal. The general consensus was this was not satire but it is hard to say since there was no archiving and the proud boys group itself was one big joke that was kicked off by Gavin singing a faggy Disney song from a broadway play. I think it was Aladdin? All I know is the line from the song was "Proud of your boy!" and Gavin had fun prodding millennial types by insinuating that fathers these days aren't likely to be proud of their boys and a whole tongue in cheek manosphere lifestyle was built around trying to make boys whose fathers would be proud of them. You probably know this shit already. I feel like a Falklands vet lecturing a group of guys going back to Afghanistan for their second tour but it's fun to take that trip down memory lane. Cut a nigga some slack.

In hindsight, the father of the fag singing the song was probably proud of his boy. He had a great voice and was starring in a big play and his faggy dad was probably the one that sent him to some faggot school like NYU or whatever in the first faggot place.
