Being in touch with nipponese people, I know Abe was a fairly standard "republican" (not really but you get the idea) sort of politician and relatively chill. Not gonna say he was any sort of saint or anything, but he was just a fairly normal politician doing his thing. Even modern attempts to address and improve the whole sexism thing at a legal level came during his time. I don't know what's with troons and associated wokes about targeting Japan in particular for their politics. See my previous post on Japanese things for why that is absurd.
The Japanese population at large is actually fucking livid about this, even if Abe was not PM anymore.
But enough of the politics sperging, what I take offense at is that the guy just didn't "die" from being shot. He got pierced from back to front, and if he had any consciousness left before he went into cardiac arrest, that was probably excruciating pain from all fucking vital organs getting damaged by a low-power gun put together in some freak's living room. It was a situation where surviving would have been much, much worse. Not to mention he was attacked in the middle of a crowd which is a really fucking shitty way to go. You don't even get the dignity of privacy you know.
What I'm trying to say is that despite being a politician, Abe was still human, a real person. You don't need to like him, you don't need to mourn him, but downright applauding him getting murdered, making shit jokes and uncalled for hot takes, and using his death for a fucked up "call to action" hoping some rando goes full postal and snipes whoever they don't like is beyond disrespectful. And the body is still warm.
I mean I already knew how shitty troons are about death, I think I mentioned a few times how them making fun of my loved ones dying was what really made me hate troonery at a personal level, but it's still profoundly fucked up to see it at this scale. They really are carbon copies of each other.
