Acting like KF doesn't attract weirdos and shitty people on the reg or that this is something new. I love the farms but tend to stick to 5-6 specific and I feel like most other people do the same. If you go digging on here there's some fucked up people saying fucked up shit, and it's been that way since forever.

The almost-free speech freedom we have here is a double edged sword. We can speak our minds on anything we want, but so can people who don't agree with us. Just slap a dumb sticker on them, correct them if you want, or call them a faggot and move on.

The culture here let's us do that, and for the threads I'm in it works pretty well, with mods stepping in when things get really out of hand. I definitely prefer letting members verbally (and with reactions) police their own over most more hands-on moderation I've seen.

No. Gas chambers were used because the Einsatzgruppen had a lot of mental issues from the mass shootings they performed when they murdered thousands upon thousands men, women, and children. A gas chamber removed the executioner from the executed, and allowed the killing to be done on an industrialized scale. Shooting people becomes very expensive in not only materials, but also personnel, travel time, and clean up. The gas chambers and crematoriums were in the same buildings - that way people could be gassed and then burned with only a few people actually able to see what was going on. Of course, people in the camps knew, but being able to see the process and keep track on who, when, and how many was something the Nazis wanted to keep as quiet as possible. Furthermore, shootings are loud - that makes them more noticeable and difficult to carry out with any modicum if secrecy. In 1945 when the Hungarian Jews were being rounded up and deported to Auschwitz there were so many dead bodies the crematoriums couldn’t handle it all, so massive pits were dug out to burn bodies there in addition to the crematoriums working at full capacity. They had to baste the bodies in their own rendered fat to keep the fires hot enough. Sonderkommando were prisoners who were forced to assist in the killings; only 4 of them survived the war.

Let’s not do this thing where some asswipe tries to be all edgy and shit by doing the Holocaust denial bs. It’s trite and stupid, as we know with absolute certainty how and why those killings took place.

Moreover it wasn’t just Jews who were murdered - Roma, political prisoners, Russian prisoners of war, and other “undesirables” were killed in that way; 11 million people (and that’s a low-ball estimate, since the Nazis didn’t pay that much attention the exact number of children they gassed (or killed in other ways) - usually they just said “child” which meant at least one (but most families had more than one child). Troons love to play hot and loose with facts and numbers, but just like biological sex some things just are immutable facts. The Holocaust is one of those facts.
