Looking through that list I can agree there are plenty of events women can compete with men in on a more or less fair level and maybe some categories could be merged. However the glossing over the legitimate issue of women's safety in some sports is retarded. Martial arts and contact sports comprise a big chunk of popular sports and trying to include women in that would lead to serious problems. On top of that, there's plenty of strength-based events that women cannot compete in in the same way, like track and field throwing events. The women's records look competitive with the men's but they're almost always throwing equipment that's significantly lighter. One last thing is that there are still countries where women are genuinely treated as inferior, and separating the events means that they have a space they can compete in. If a country like Saudi Arabia could only bring 5 people to a mixed-sex event where women could be equal to men they're almost definitely not letting women have those spaces, unless you institute a quota which sort of defeats the point of letting everyone complete evenly.

People dance around it but we know pretty clearly where men have an advantage: height, weight (overall mass), muscle mass and strength (particularly upper body strength), aerobic capacity.

Skills and sports that have more to do with hand-eye coordination and endurance, or fine motor control, aren't the issue. But any sport where more muscle will have an impact is obviously going to have sex differences in performance. These dishonest twitter "discussions", which are actually just one-sided polemics always do the same 2 things: They treat all sports as interchangeable for the sake of their arguments (an obvious obfuscation tactic) and treat efforts to ban women's only leagues as supporting proof for their points, when things like trying to ban women's football are, while obviously motivated by misogyny, just a red herring in the debate, and have nothing to do with the actual question of fairness in competition between the sexes. No one was trying to argue women should just compete with the men when they banned the women's league after the war.

Incidentally go read that article she links about the "The British Ladies Football Club", which includes paragraphs like the following:

The report also stated that the team would leave for Dublin on 20th June, but their plans appear to have changed subsequently. On 21st June an advertisement appeared in The Belfast Newsletter announcing "At the request of several prominent footballers in Belfast, a Grand Match will be played between a team of the Lady Footballers and a male team of the North End Juniors at Cliftonville Grounds, Saturday June 22nd." Only 3,000 spectators turned out for this match, which was preceded by a "Reds" v "Blues" match between the ladies themselves, which the Blues won 1-0. The match against the male team was not a serious affair; the men scored twice in the first twelve minutes, and thereafter the game was reportedly played almost entirely in the ladies' half. Towards the end the ladies scored two goals themselves to equalize. Following the match a 120 yards flat race was staged for the women, which was won by Florence Clarke, with L. Yeates and Daisy Allen in second and third place respectively. A similar race over 220 yards was staged for the men's team. This game appears to have brought the club's first season to a close.

and

It is likely that a match on March 28th at Sincil Bank, the home of Lincoln City FC, also involved Miss Hudson's club. Only 16 ladies turned out, and once again they resorted to pressing male goalkeepers into service. Very few details of the match were reported, other than the score - Reds 1, Blues 0, and the presence of "Tommy" on the pitch - presumably the fake Tommy! A match at Hoylake three days earlier was marred by one of the goalkeepers falling and breaking her leg. No further details were given ,and it is unknown therefore which club was playing at the time.

The games against men were always against local juniors, which is another way these arguments are disingenuous. You can play coed sports fine when its your local softball league or small time affair, but when it gets to money-making professional sports, positions on teams are limited and we start getting into the top 1% of performers, and then women are going to get shut out. It's very disingenuous to act as though people are saying men and women can't have a soccer game together without women losing, when the discussion is collegiate athletics leading into things like professional teams or the Olympics. The two are entirely different.

Oh troons crave chocolate once a month too, which prove they are physiologically identical as women.

I think every Troon account of alleged ’periods’ I’ve read mentions being very emotional, and craving chocolate.

That may be the stereotype, and it may be the stereotype for a reason, but there are also plenty of women who completely lose their appetite during a period. Strangely enough, I never see that experience described by MTF’s.

No female time at any Ultramarathon distance is better than that of any man.

The top ten all time Ironman triathalon times for men all beat the best time for a woman. Might be interesting to find where the woman would place, competing as a man.

Will Women Ultrarunners Surpass the Best Men?

A new science paper explores the subject at great depth, and concludes that it's possible, but not likely.

Is this twitter account some kind of joke? 🙄

Mr. Montgomerie with an interesting take.

I cringed so hard I collapsed into myself and became a black hole.

WTF? He must be 100% committed to the bimbo role 🙄 I mean, all one has to do is look at stuff from the surrealist movement and the fin du siecle stuff to notice how repression was still a big thing in the modern eras. Men were cross dressing in those days, not outright transitioning. And men like the Danish girl were rich enough to troon out that they didn't need to vote or really give a fuck about anything except their schizophrenic delusions.

C'mon, Monty! Do some research before you make some unfounded claims

Oh hun, you're being clocked. Women don't randomly compliment each other like that.
Err, it depends. As an appreciator of women I do occasionally say that to random girls that their outfit looks cute if it does or if they themselves are insanely cute, but that's more rare. I've had other women compliment my outfits as well. But if its done because the outfit is cute I'll typically ask "where did you get that x?" because I wanna know where I can cop some cute clothes.
General compliments like "you look very pretty" are typically not said amongst women and that totally is a sign of clocking. Usually women specifically say what they think is pretty, for example "your eyeliner is well done" or "I really adore your hair, where did you get it done?"

Broke: "I'm in constant 10/10 pain and the only thing that can stop it is vicodin, write me a script or I'll kill myself."

Woke: "I'm in constant 10/10 pain and the only thing that can stop it is estrogen, write me a script or I'll kill myself."

Bespoke: "I'm in constant 10/10 pain and the only thing that can stop it is estrogen, write me a script or I'll kill myself and you'll be held morally culpable and lose your license."

Galaxy Brain: "I'm in constant 10/10 pain and the only thing that can stop it is estrogen, write me a script or I'll threaten to kill myself and you'll be held morally culpable and lose your license."
Oh wait, I forgot one.

Ascended: "I'm nine years old and in constant 10/10 pain and the only thing that can stop it is estrogen, write me a script or I'll threaten to kill myself and you'll be held morally culpable and lose your license."

ok first of all some people ARENT whole before therapy which is why they need it. second of all in applicable situations (like this one) therapists CAN “invalidate” you if you’re clearly fucking delusional. if a therapist were to tell a schizophrenic that the voices in their head were real and valid and not wrong, they’d have their licence revoked. third of all it’s concerning this person says “we” in that post, is he a therapist? if so he need his licence revoked too. fourth, “make sure you come out of the experience feeling more valid” is just another way of saying “if your therapist doesn’t validate your delusions get a new one!!!” i remember when jumping between therapists/psychiatrist trying to get a prescription was called doctor shopping.

Thank you. I was going to comment on this too. Keep in mind that there are a lot of incompetent therapists. The flexibility of psychology as a "science" leads to inconsistent training from school to school. They try to get around this by requiring a huge number of hours counseling clients under supervision, before getting a license, but that supervision is only as good as the person supervising them is.

A lot of therapists go into the field for the wrong reasons too. One of my friends is a therapist and she told me once that people go into psychology to either fix themselves or control others. She has a masters degree, so she's going to know about how true that is more than me. If that's true though, that's a scary thought.

Therapists are also encouraged to get therapy themselves as an ongoing basis. That makes sense if you think about the trauma they are secondhandedly exposed to every day. Without an outlet of their own they would end up pretty fucked up. I'm pretty sure they end picking up their therapists biases and opinions and end up using them when they do therapy for their clients. Some of those things they pick up are going to be good things. But given the numbers of bad therapists, there's going to be a lot of bad traits too.

If you can find a good therapist it's very helpful. A bad one is easier to find and is worse than none at all IME.

ETA: RE women randomly complimenting. It does happen. I've complimented women in random places and been complimented. It's always "love your shirt" or "love your hair", usually during a transaction at the store between me and the cashier or whatever. Never just while existing in public.

If he's being stopped on the street and told these things he's being clocked and people are Being Kind to the Retard.

I've mentored some students who double-majored in Psych along with my field, so I got some additional perspective from what they said about themselves and their classmates. Some majors took Intro Psych to fill in a freshman class, thought it was kinda interesting and doable, and decided to go with it as a major. These are the people who don't go into graduate studies and end up in a job that's basically like "Show us any vaguely relevant BA so we know you can complete a significant task and write a halfway decent report."

Everyone else is trying to fix themselves or someone else. E.g., "why am I so sensitive compared to everyone else I know? Oh I'm apparently Borderline." Or "I hate watching my grandma descend into dementia, I'm going to take classes in working with seniors." I think the latter group is great. The former group is where all the bad therapists come from.
