"Women's" size 17. There's a reason most stores go up to a woman's 12, in some cases. Most actually stop at 11 and carry maybe five pairs in that size.

People don't actually understand how we got here or that these identity categories have morphed. When you look at third gender categories like the Hirjas, it's not as simple as saying "that's the ancient Indian way of being gay". Men who fell/fall under third gender categories in cultures that have one were quite clearly not just gay, but faggots. This isn't the case where some burly bear with tons of muscle would fuck a dude then be declared a lady, the behavior traits people were identifying had to do with effeminacy. Hell, even the Athenian Greeks, who had pedarasty as a social pillar, still hated effeminate men! So part of the gay rights movement was really, hey let the faggy guys be faggy, you aren't going to be able to change them anyway. There were AGPs back then too, but they existed as an entirely separate movement. The AGP group deliberately amalgamated itself into the broader gay rights movement.
I don't think HSTS's should be coddled and accepted in their delusions any more than AGPs. But the modern left isn't able to understand the actual social construction of these identity categories or that they have evolved and changed over time. Trans is one box that you check, and then you have to pity them and help them and uplift them, because that's how you prove you're a good person. And anyone who doesn't is a bad person. There's a canyon a mile wide between the sort of "live and let live" ethos lefties and TRAs claim to want and believe in, and the judgmental crusade they are actually on.
