He never directly said he changed his number.

It's like he knows that he'll give it a bad score but still put it on his games of the year list. However instead of fixing his retarded logic, he just expects no one to notice or call him out for it and just continue to lower their standards for his dumb shit. Plus we know how much stock that he puts into the reviews with him using them to dodge games that he thinks he won't make money on.

Not gonna claim one thing or another; but one, there's a lot of stolen valor on the internet, and especially in gamer circles. Second, even if they were 03 door kickers or whatever; there's a number of combat vets who don't live up to the idea. When I was playing World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade, joined one of the better raiding guilds on the server, like one or two weeks after being allowed in on a raid, log on one day; the guild bank is empty and about 25% of the members are gone. Raid Lead (Army Infantry) was trying to steal the Guild Master's Wife, tried to spark a revolt in the guild, and when that failed, looted the bank and fucked off to another server.
No disrespect to combat vets, but the role of infantryman in the U.S. Army doesn't require a ton of qualifications...

One of my friends got out like 6 years ago. She would bitch to me all the time about having to serve the less-than-honorable E9's their discharge papers.
Not only that, but I dislike people who seem to make their tour of duty a part of their identity as a civilian. It reminds me of people who peaked in high school. My dad is a Gulf War veteran and he doesn't go out of his way to remind everyone that he's a vet. He doesn't wear those veteran caps at Walmart and he doesn't have it plastered in bold letters on his social media that he's some great warrior or freedom fighter or whatever.
Didn't he give a game 9.5/10 and refer to it as a "mixed bag"? So yes, the number is meaningless to him for some weird reason.
