I've never said I was fluent in it. I have mentioned that we are taught it in grade school. @RadioactiveMonkeyMan can (and has once) confirm this. It tends to be either in grade 3 or 4 depending on if it's a Catholic school or a public school. I also never said they were my people. I have said that my aunt and cousins are First Nations. You really need to learn to read Thomas. You're almost 70 years old.

Can confirm, yeah. And if you decide to pursue it, depending on where you live you can also get taught the local tongue in First Nations Studies in high school. That can be anything from cree dialects out on the plains, to miqmaq out east or one of the many haida dialects on the west coast as examples.
