This was hilarious. In regards to his wedding anniversary with his horse:
"We didn't do anything, we couldn't. Got no money, and no time to do anything. That's just...that's adult life man."

Mature adult ✅ No money ✅ Too busy ✅

The fact he is playing a children's game while saying this is just icing on the cake, it's almost absurd.

That is absolutely NOT adult life. You find the time. What a miserable sack of shit. His life is literally just being wasted live on cam.

Lmao, not having any money isn’t an adult problem, that’s an adolescent problem.

Im more convinced that Phil's parents ''paid'' them to get married more than ever. Didnt he mention they gave him a few grand during the trip?

Will cost him more in the divorce than his parents gave them on the Wedding day. Well played Phil :story:

"Thanks!"

That's the thing about how normal gambling can hook addicts. You get a huge win and then you decide to throw it all in for a bigger win but you lose it all and keep chasing the big win.

Whereas with Phil, where is the hook? If he "gets a big win" it's not like he can spend it on another bigger win. There's not even a hypothetical end game to fool yourself with.

Normal gambling can hook anyone who is predisposed to addiction. Yeah it's a dumb thing but even smart people can get caught up under the right set of events. But what the fuck kind of retard gets fooled into addiction by wrestling pixels. God damn is Phil stupid.

I've heard people make the argument that this is all due to the sunk cost fallacy. But that's more in line with say stocks or crypto, you've already sunk in x amount of money and due to stress of not making enough returns you sink more and more money in hoping to make it all up one day and then some. But even Phil should realize there is no "making up" the value because there is no value to a Zombie Hogan. I mean the dumbass already explained how he got fooled by this nonsense with SuperCard and decently explained why it was stupid. So what does he do? What Phil always does. Spend until you're depressed.
It's because he "wins" every match. Check the stats page. His win rate is like 99%. So he gets the bing bing "You're the bestest!" pixel fireworks and feels good.

Pretty much. I've been in an actual "can't afford something expensive" time, and my wife and I cooked something for ourselves with a small present given that was within our means at the time. That was plenty, and it was still nice.

Phil being an Internet Tough Guy IRL yet again, this time over someone posting his "podcast" to Spotify. Phil, if you weren't so fucking lazy, you could've done it yourself.

Dude...he's plugged a beg into literally EVERY SINGLE piece of auxillary content (schedules, daily wrap, Twitter shit, etc.) he's made today.

I can't recall seeing this level of carpet-bomb begging before. What the fuck?
His entire stream is beg at this point. If the subject isn't directly about money, it is about likes, views, engagement and other buzzword.

Imagine if you went to see a comedian, and the entire show is him complaining about his finances, talking about how many people are there tonight, how many people were there yesterday and crossing fingers that a lot of people will show up tomorrow, complaining that people arent wearing merch and they should go buy merch before he tells one joke and walks off for the night.
There isn't a subject that isn't about the stream, maybe food? Everything else is just grunts and snorts and uhu, uuuuh no.

Seems like it's almost the end result or like the late stages of a gambling addiction because even winning didn't have a euphoria effect on that person. Seems like they're on autopilot, it's really sad to hear tbh.
Yeah, when you're in deep with a gambling addiction you couldn't care less if you win or lose, the dopamine spike comes from the feeling of anticipation, not whether you win or lose. That's why it makes sense why Phil is addicted to gacha games when the jpegs he collects have zero value, that's not the point anymore. The point is the feeling of anticipation when the lights start flashing on his phone when he does a pull.
