There's no way Phil can beat her with his playstyle, so he's either going to:

  • swallow his pride(if he has any left)and summon players or use ash summons(like the mimic tear)
  • hopelessly bash his head against her and complain about not wanting to respec his character(while also shitting on FromSoftware)
  • give up fighting her and shit on FromSoftware because his method of cheesing the game isn't working against her
  • Somehow beat her in a few attempts due to pigroach luck
I know it's too early to say, given how slow his progress is in Elden Ring, but I just can't see him breezing through Malenia.

Phil would have no trouble in a Brewster's Millions situation. Just leave him in a dark room with a cell phone and come back a few days later and he'd be flat broke.

Powerlevel and personal anecdote time: my boss took our team to a casino a few years ago, and that was my first time going to one. It was a weekday and the people I saw playing there don't really look like wealthy high rollers wearing suits and expensive watches, they mostly looked like middle aged people who looked fucking miserable. While we were playing I heard from this fanfare from where the slot machines are and there was someone who won something like 10000 dollars. It was flashed in a bunch of neon text and loud music, and if that was me I'd be jumping for joy and celebrating like a spastic but what I saw was a man who was just blankly staring at the machine waiting for the fanfare to be over. Then he took the receipt/voucher thing and just kept pulling like nothing happened.

I'm guessing it's the same with Phil, it literally doesn't matter if a whale gives his entire life savings on Phil. Tomorrow he'll be back to begging and making sure people contribute.

It's like he knows exactly what his viewers want from his Elden Ring streams, but because he wants to easy way out, he is unwilling to co-operate. He is truly his own worst enemy.

Seems like it's almost the end result or like the late stages of a gambling addiction because even winning didn't have a euphoria effect on that person. Seems like they're on autopilot, it's really sad to hear tbh.

Must also be a lot easier when you're just pressing the screen rather than have to take money out of a machine and feed it into the slot. Although at least with actual gambling there's a slight chance of coming out on top, even though actual addicts never do.
 
The first third of the daily beg video reminded me when a child, like a 8 yo coming home from school and the mom asks how was your day?

Its amazing how he treats a day off full of frivolous spending as a necessity. "Guys I need to buy a big expensive restaurant meal this week", like just how retarded does that sound? Obviously this is ignoring that he likely orders doordash every single day anyway, but how does a person have the audacity to say with a straight face and being absolutely serious that they NEED to eat out at least once a week? If you're struggling to pay your real bills how does the thought of spending money eating out even enter your mind?

This seems to be his attempt at getting around the memory-holing we point out. Meaning, he thinks that by saying it's all gone, that counts as acknowledgement. Problem is, it also fits right in with his need to have it all, which is indicative of him lying.

He advertises "salt" sometimes, even right there in a video title, so it has been established already that he knows. Not to mention his bitching about people wanting to see him suffer.

The problem is that it wouldn't be a slight increase in deaths, but a significant one. For all my talk of him sucking at grifting people, he does know what it takes to entertain, and he even indulges it, but it's so woefully short of the full theoretical potential that he may as well not bother. Why? Because he knows the aforementioned. He knows he'll fail exponentially more if he doesn't pull this guide-reading, bad-acting, stalling, cheesing, over-leveling bullshit. He knows the pain is going to sour the taste of all that money.

This inability to solidly pick one thing over another is why his life sucks, too. Look at Derich, for some contrast. Dude is happy as shit because he clearly chose being a perverted idiot over achieving ANYTHING in life. He doesn't try to have it all.

See, it's because he's struggling, that he thinks it's okay to demand others bankroll his frivolous days off. He thinks "Well, I supposedly don't have enough to get by every day, so what else am I supposed to do, right?" He doesn't realize that people who ACTUALLY have hard times, don't do shit like that, because he wouldn't know a damn thing about that reality, and doesn't want to.

Didn't he do a hardcore run one time and loaded a save every time Boone died because Phil is a massive bitch and wanted the AI to do all the work for him? I'd love to see him play Fallout 3 again and be dumbfounded when companions can die.
