Can currently see bombs going off in the distance on Kyiv cams here. Has audio as well. Not spectacular to see or anything, but first time on the live streams you can see anything.
 
There is already fighting going on within the city.

Probably the best thing they could do would be to show people how to build VBIEDs and get an assembly line of those going. When Russia actually launches a ground assault on the city there's no realistic way they could avoid every single parked car.
Immobilizing a tank isn't substantially more difficult than it was in WW2, even with inadequate weapons.
The problem is that Russia is hardly going to do them the favor of throwing in tanks in manageable numbers, or without support.
They're not short on time, men, or material.

ATGM ambushes are a threat. Last-ditch militias, though? I doubt it.
