I'm not sure how Canada works but I would assume that yaniv's first port of call would be his GP who would then refer him for a psychological assessment then on to the surgeon if everything is deemed ok...yes/no? If so then Brassard is just one of a few on the conveyor belt. Although I can't vouch whether Brassard made a complete pig's ear of it over and above (they all look horrendous to me) I can't actually blame just him as I feel he's just one of maybe 3/4 folks involved.

All yaniv had to do was...

• be totally honest re his medical history (eg, iirc, he didn't divulge his "severe" car bump).
• accept and understand the risks etc (just like any op),
• ensure he had a support network in place (FB/EMS/RCMP/ERs don't count).
• ensure hygiene and general care of his gash was adhered to as instructed.
• understand given hospital instructions - before hospital discharge and after.
• advice and info via email/telephone numbers etc for any queries and/or problems.

He had the internet/advice line to ring/email address/his GP at his disposal. He made numerous visits to various ERs, contacted a US Doctor online and no doubt had daily "consultations" with his digi doc...and he still fecked everything up.

A surgeon, on the understanding that the patient is compos mentis, can only do so much. He’s not paid to be a moron’s wet nurse 24/7 no matter how special the tranny and his mother think the tranny is.

Do I feel sorry for yaniv and his ilk? Do I hell.

I don't. By this stage enough information is out there to make it pretty clear what a fucked up, mind blowingly stupid thing it is to do to yourself. If you do something so drastic to yourself and you don't read the negative reviews first, then you get what you deserve.

This was upwards of twenty times though, until the fire department literally had to serve him an order for abusing emergency services demanding that he stop calling frivolously or face up to a thousand canuck bucks for each offense. He wasn’t in agony. He was in bliss forcing EMS to look upon his wretched mangled creation.

Anti-depressants can take a while to kick in and you are generally warned that symptoms may get worse before they get better, I guess it's easier to claim you are allergic rather than admitting you're too lazy and too thick to read the pack documentation.

I noticed there's no mention of his "severe anxiety, severe depression, CPSTD", his supposed hip problems, his life-threatening allergies etc in his medical history...the very things that he whines about 24/7, yet doesn't whine online about actual diagnosed obesity-related problems.

And then people (aside from the farmers here of course) wonder why trans have such a high suicide rate. Fuck I would be absolutely mortified to live with an infected, bleeding, painful wound like that day-to-day and would probably 41% myself. Everyone involved in this procedure (that is: willingly, hope those unwilling get the emotional and mental support they need after all this) is an idiot and deserves the outcome.

AGPs (as well as all the botched GRS surgeries and Mengele level surgeons) are an unspoken elephant in the room for the vast majority of trans people - you'll be fucking exiled by others if you say anything despite it being true. No one wants to acknowledge that there's an issue because that means acknowledging that there are indeed fellow "trans" who are fucked up and ruining "their human rights cause". What's worse is these blissfully ignorant people are not all trans themselves and will push for anyone to be if they have any doubt about their gender identity. IMHO it's a form of grooming no matter the age of the victim and should be called out as such.

I have a close family member who is a wound care nurse on top of being an FNP for years now, so of course I showed her the pictures of these surgeries. She was horrified and disturbed and she loves looking at any (other than neovag) wounds. Imagine your genitals being so fucked that even someone who actively enjoys wound care usually won't want to come within 20 feet of that melted, mangled mess if she can help it. I pray she never gets subjected to someone like Yaniv.

- it's disgusting, anyone who contributed to getting that surgery done is absolutely psychotic.
- AGPs and botched surgeries are a taboo topic for trans communities that will get you publicly shamed for mentioning.
- I know a wound care nurse who would not ever want to touch that and she loves wound care.

Yes, I agree. Already detransitioners are coming out and speaking about the fact that they believe that their transgenderism was a by-product or a complete misunderstanding of another mental disorder.

In a study published last year (Individuals Treated for Gender Dysphoria with Medical and/or Surgical Transition Who Subsequently Detransitioned: A Survey of 100 Detransitioners), it is noted that, "Reasons for detransitioning were varied and included: experiencing discrimination (23.0%); becoming more comfortable identifying as their natal sex (60.0%); having concerns about potential medical complications from transitioning (49.0%); and coming to the view that their gender dysphoria was caused by something specific such as trauma, abuse, or a mental health condition (38.0%)."

Also note, "The majority (55.0%) felt that they did not receive an adequate evaluation from a doctor or mental health professional before starting transition and only 24.0% of respondents informed their clinicians that they had detransitioned."

More and more stories and research will (slowly) come out like this.

yaniv blasted their claims on 4 Feb on Twitter... a day or two maybe for the FB to organise/dispatch email/letter, or whatever, to get to yaniv makes his number of callouts even more horrendous - it was 30+ visits.
