I know one guy who dodged the 90-Day Fiance gold-digger bullet and, perhaps, actual bullets.

Am I the only one giving Putin the benefit of the doubt that he realizes that taking and occupying Ukraine (especially major cities) outside of the eastern Republics is just another Afghanistan?
I feel like he knows that it will be Afghanistan 2.0
that's why he's using it as leverage to Biden :optimistic:

Maybe. Wouldn't be the first time Russia under Putin seized some shit from a weak neighbor then dug in and declared the war over. Frozen conflict diplomacy is just kinda the way they do things.

Then again they made Chechnya (mostly) secure eventually.

They're so dumb they don't realize a dude who used to run the KGB is never, ever going to be a trustworthy ally. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with these tards?
:story: Ally to who though? There's this bizarre assumption here that just because you live in a country, your interests align with that country, even if that country absolutely hates you and wants you dead.

Apparently a gas pipeline has been cut off as a result of shelling by Russian troops.

Using Google Translate from Ukrainian to English the Tweet says "In Starobilsk, a gas pipeline was cut off as a result of the occupiers' shelling"

You're not. I posted earlier that Russia wants The Ukraine to demilitarize and make an agreement not to join NATO. Putin said as much publicly after this whole thing started. He doesn't want The Ukraine, he wants it castrated and standing as a disarmed buffer state between Russia and NATO countries.. Might take Luhansk and Donetsk though.

They are trying to meme "the ghost of Kiev" into something like that, but there is nothing concrete so far.
It's war, there's dozens of real hero story shit that has happened to soldiers on both sides already after a single day that we'll never hear about

Chechnya is Russian clay, so of course they tamped it down. There isn't an incentive to end the war in Georgia or Ukraine, because a prerequisite for joining NATO is stable borders and no active military conflicts. An eternal low intensity conflict and occupied territory guarantees they'll never join NATO.

RUSSIA MUST PAY FOR MAKING PEOPLE VOTE FOR SOMETHING I DON'T LIKE. TELL OUR SAND SLAVES THEY MAY RELEASE THE OIL.
