You know, almost every time I've heard the term "fetishizing" in a social justice context, it's as a meaningless buzzword that allows them to have their cake and eat it, too.

Not enough WOC in this music video? Racist. Too many WOC? Fetishizing.

It's basically turned into "You did a good thing, but I suspect you had an ulterior motive, so it's still bad." Forgive me if I don't consider it a serious argument.

Even if they were, it's stupid to be offended by something you encounter in everyday life. How do they function? (Spoiler: they probably don't) I can assure you, most Jews don't give two shits.

How is Jack Sparrow racist? He has dreadlocks cause he's a fucking pirate, spending months at sea does not lend itself to having great hair.

She has two murderous animatronic characters immediately after washing her hands of the FNAF fandom, reused her incredibly popular Purple Guy interpretation in several works, and a complete copy of Zer0 from Fallout New Vegas.
