How many begging tweets have been send this year? And we haven't even hit March yet. And if we count his begging segments it looks like he is in more dire straits then ever. What is going on "bheind da scenes" that he needs that much money? Or - as other spointed out - the vest streak and the OIc sub bombs on twitch have pushed Phil's expectations irreversibly and he can't change. Just like his play style

Because there is no value to a superchat to him since he has to wait for them. It's why the only total he even cares for are the tips, because he gets to and does spend them just after the stream. Phil could see a million dollars in superchats every stream but he would still demand tips because he wants his instant gratification.

Turkey burgers are probably the only thing Phil or kaht even know how to cook that he thinks is remotely healthy. The wheelchairs keep asking him because at this point it's the only question the know that they can ask where they get an answer and he won't blow a gasket when asked. After rewatching a few classic and more recent TIHYDPs, it's become really clear to me that Phil could be making so much more money.

He already makes more than he should obviously but if he would ever lean into his shit talking traits or rage he'd be so much more popular or at the very least watchable. As it stands his worst sin has always been just being too boring for any average person to watch. Not until you study his history and personality does he really start to be interesting for anyone who isn't part of the US welfare program.

It's another example of his endless pride though. He would never play up a funny trait, play a character, or anything of the sort if asked. His need for respect even from people who are so retarded they can park in handicapped spots is so massive he'd forgo an ongoing fortune for it. He'd rather be boring and unwatchable than disrespected. It's why he'll use the public masturbation incident as a joke when it serves his purposes but ban you for ever bringing it up.

The continued struggle between his need for mobile game funds and his need to be taken seriously as a robust adult is nothing short of Shakespearean. I can't believe Phil exists day to day.
