Apparently the Coutts border bros decided to move the protest up to Edmonton (the province's capital city), which will be great for the salt and honking, but I was really enjoying the border standoff lol. Well, maybe the Manitoba & Ontario ones will still be fun.

Another quick one from Australia; looks like the cops have succeeded in intimidating asking the protesters to move elsewhere. They're now getting set up in a caravan park about 15 minutes drive from the parliament buildings where the local council can charge them 35 dollarydoos a night. That is, they appear to be successfully sweeping the protesters under the rug, and are now trying to extort them.

I fear this may be the end, but hopefully with more people from across Australia heading into Canberra to support the protest they'll say a collective "nah fuck yas" and go right back where they were. Either that or start blocking roads, but unfortunately Canberra isn't a major population centre (it's pretty much just the parliament buildings and a few museums, with a small local population) so not sure what would come from that. Someone more up on how road freight in Aus works might be able to weigh in.

Keep honkin Canabros, looks like it might just be youse guys speaking for the world a little while longer.

News to me as last time I been to SD.net iirc back in mid aughts Wong was still rational in the technical sense of the word. What exactly did he do to Boyd?

Yeah on SpaceBattles Thanatos/Athene trooning out was my first experience with the tranny janny phenomenon. I thought it was some weird isolated thing since I had already stopped regularly browsing there, watching it basically consume the autismosphere now is insane.
