Three things to keep in mind, no matter how bad it gets:
#1: You're still pulling in air, so you're ahead of the game.
#2: It could ALWAYS be worse.
#3: Life isn't fair, suck it up and drive on.
Keep those in mind, and anything is able to be withstood.
Yes, you can. We are all stronger than we think. Choices are easy when you don't have any.I agree with almost all of this, but I haven't undergone hardships and probably can't handle them.
They vote yes for the nigger, they look like cuckolds to their own voters and Democrats will hate them. How is that a win?
It's not want to leave, it is "I have a family I need to care for, can work remotely without missing a beat, and have the finances to do the move".Haven't read everything, don't know why Gehenna wants to leave. I don't see things now anywhere near as bad as 1968, and I was a teenager then.
If America goes to shit, the whole world will follow soon after.
Soros has burned through probably tens of billions of dollars on random shit over the course of his life. He probably figures this is just a bare minimum sorta donation.
Once his Democracy PAC files with the FEC on Monday their spending will be publically available.

This is what gets me. I honestly don't think if shit goes down that bad, there is anywhere safer to run to. This isn't like Jews in 1934 being able to nope out to free Britain or the US. It's more like:I hope you're able to find somewhere that's actually better, because even outside of an End Times antichrist takeover thing, it's pretty clear that the Establishment cabal is not just a US thing anymore, globohomo has spread to the far corners of the earth.
I don't care what happens. I'm not leaving. I'm not running. I still believe in my neighbors, my town, my country, even if it stopped believing in itself.
I've undergone hardship before, I can handle it again.
Less dooming and more Biden L's.
Nah, it's alright, it's just a mix of immediate reaction and some people thinking "what would I do if shit ACTUALLY hits the fan" and needing to revise their plans. It's not want to leave, it is "I have a family I need to care for, can work remotely without missing a beat, and have the finances to do the move".
Precautionary, not "The sky is falling oh god!"
In retrospect, I could have eased the thread into that in a way that would have caused less... panic. Oops.
Hell, due to circumstances in my own life I will actually be moving to entirely work remotely.
aww did you make a covid baby?
I already have enough kids, we know how to prevent them. No, I am moving out of country because I am worried about my family's safety.
OK this was like a novel. In retrospect, I could have eased the thread into that in a way that would have caused less... panic. Oops.
In a sane world, yes.If there is a depression like some think its just as likely your money would become worth more not less. Depressions and recessions tend to be deflationary. deflation was 10% a year 30-33 and in 2008 it was 2%.
Its not a bad decision at all. I agree that while this is very unlikely to be the end of the world, it is the end of an Era. The US is very vulnerable to domestic terrorism for a multitude of reasons (Glowies can absolutely fight it, but stopping it is basically impossible), and any widespread unrest that hits that level will turn most if not all US attention inward for a few years. Thats when the rest of the world moves, and a lot of things get shaken up in the current order. It's not want to leave, it is "I have a family I need to care for, can work remotely without missing a beat, and have the finances to do the move".

I'd recommend the classic waterproof matches and water purification tablets- even if you personally use something else. Super compact and very high in utility. It's a nice safety net to have and if anything it can be a bartering tool. Someone who got their week's water supply handled is unlikely to kill you later in your sleep to steal your water filter. The reality is in any serious situation you're unlikely to have/want to risk having a car unless you have a designated place to go. It's better to prep that comprehensively, have a barebones go-bag in case you're stuck on foot, and keep your vehicle equipped/dispositioned to get to the gettin' spot.Rice. Beans. (Multiple kinds). Flour. Cornmeal. Bottled Water and water filters. Canned meat. (Spam may not be good to eat but it'll do the trick) Cheap spices (Garlic salt, onion salt, pepper, Mrs. Dash) and basic bitch hot sauce.
Toilet paper. Light bulbs. Batteries (rechargable and non). Kerosene. Gasoline. Fuel pellets and tabs. Coleman heating/cooling stove about the size of a coffee can.
Long rifle, shotgun, pistol. Machete. 500 rounds of ammo for each. Get used to iron sights. All that tacticool shit is great right up until you drop your rifle. Red dot is for pussies.
Those are your basics.
There's a weird ugly undercurrent that I don't like.
Buy it now before your money is even further devalued by the non-existent inflation and the doesn't exist supply chain issues.
Or, point and laugh at me, your choice.
Government spending SOARED to the highest levels that had been seen in the great depression and they debased the gold content of the dollar and eventually removed the US from the gold standard in 1933 and there was still massive deflation. In a sane world, yes.
In a world where they see ridiculous inflation and conclude "we need to print more money to fight this", no. I have no doubt in my mind that they will try to fight this even harder than 2008 with even more helicopter money, right up until they physically cannot.

The only part I disagree with is the assessment regarding food stability. I highly doubt the possibility of widespread famine in North and Central America, but I do believe there will be a LOT of civil unrest from a shortage of food variety and general increase in the price of feeding yourself. Vegans gonna get fucked for sure, and everyone else is gonna be living off true staple foods and limited seasonings for a while. We are extremely spoiled in all things edible, and food riots are a distinct possibility as a result. Meat surprisingly isn't the big concern, vegetables are the big one, since we rely on synced harvest cycles around the world to keep up.
I just worry what the current order will do before it finally DOES lose.Government spending SOARED to the highest levels that had been seen in the great depression and they debased the gold content of the dollar and eventually removed the US from the gold standard in 1933 and there was still massive deflation.
And the US is naturally trending to isolationism and will do so even if there is not civil unrest. Imperialism and interventionism require a reason for the nation to pursue them. The US is running out of reasons. the current world order was established by the Bretton-woods agreement and the Marshall plan. In exchange for the US protection from the Russians and protection from pirates on the seas the free world would ally with the US to defeat the USSR, and use the Dollar in international trade. This scheme worked there was a visible benefit for the USA for people to see and receive the boons of. the US became the worlds economic leader.
But the USSR is gone now and the Russian Federation is so decrepit that they will NEVER be a threat to the United states or even western Europe ever again. Despite geriatric cold warrior sabre rattling in the federal government and in the Kremlin, there will be no war. This is because they can no longer get the support they need for it to happen. The US has all the resources to function alone. what things it can not make it gets from Canada and Mexico and after 40 years of interventionism the international world is not selling anymore. Its why hillary lost, its why populism swept away the Neo-cons, its why Biden is floundering, its why the Great reset wont happen and its why the current order will lose.
That is melbourne. That is australias version of San Fransisco but more retarded.
A historic sperg out to be sure.I just worry what the current order will do before it finally DOES lose.
Which is why I have chosen to relocate. Everything is still completely on track to go well... in the end. It's the period between then and now which has me worried.A historic sperg out to be sure.

I'd note since this feels a little bit too much like a barb aimed at me. I remain working where I am. Providing analysis and insight to my employers who are in fact the very politicians working to pick up the pieces. I remain paying my taxes as an employee of an American company. And the move is, in theory, temporary. I am not selling my house or any other assets I have in America merely moving out of it while it works its shit out.Don't run off like a coward, or you'll die a coward's death.
