I dunno...this is so effective I am hoping the truckers decide they're gonna stay right where they are until every member of Parliament commits ritual sudoku.

Yea, we talked about it yesterday. If they break their word the truckers can just do this again. Hit targets that don't get fortified in the aftermath. Docks/railyards/highways/etc and further negotiation would be a lot less compromising.

Honestly I'm amazed the truckers were smart enough to only partially open up. Maybe people have learned more in the past decade than I would have given them credit for.

There's a reason they haven't busted heads yet. Optics aren't as important as the right typically believes, but this is a situation where it matters. People are already really fucking pissed and willing to organize. Escalating to violence now would bolster the movement, they need an excuse before they start killing people.

Even if they somehow pull a miracle and clear the blockade, the supply chain issues will remain as long as the truckers refuse to work.

I'm sure carpet bombing their already limited logistic workers is a great move tactically and would pay off. The truckers need to be terrified.

Oddly enough, Albertan government is now considering dropping all provincial mandates if the truckers end the border blockade. Why would the Albertan government be considering that deal if the blockade is already over according to you?
