I think Chibi really wanted to be one of those editors that are a personality along side the person in the video. A lot of video editors (especially ones that edit stream highlights) kind of evolve to be a crucial part of their channel, for their humour or their editing style. Not only did Chibi have very generic editing and awful humour, he was acting like he was 'apart' of the channel from day 1. Those editors become apart of the channels identify overnight, they worked on multiple videos for years to build up that reputation. This falls perfectly in line with Chibi as a person. Chibi will quit communities within days if he doesn't attention. You can see in EZScapes comment section, he commented on anyone that mentioned his editing. Just desperate for attention and admiration.
I feel sad for the cat especially since I have one kitty that is currently sick. I still think she wants to die so she doesn't have to live in a dirty condo with a greasy "homeowner" who never cleans himself and probably has more flees then the cat.
He has the most remarkable ability to almost elicit sympathy from someone, then backhand it with the typical obnoxious "woe-is-me...where's-my-hug-at-girl" attitude he carries with him everywhere he goes.
It's definitely very weird in the context of a normal person, but when it comes to Chibi, his goal is clear. He's getting some of that attention he wants.

It's all just speculation and deconstruction. But some people on the farms have theorized that Chibi might have sociopathic tendencies; not the "i wanna kill people blah blah", but he's incapable of rationally empathizing or accurately picking up on social cues. He's kind of trained himself to react to things, rather than having a true understanding of it. So he has no foresight to what his consequences would be rationally, and only has his inept interpretation of what he thinks is going to happen.
I'd never considered Adam to be a sociopath, but now that you mention it low-iq sociopathic narcissist fits the bill a lot better than autism. While he does miss out on a lot of social cues, he at times expresses a lot more social awareness than you'd expect from a genuine autist. That tracks more with him being a sociopath who has learned some behavior patterns but is too dumb to accurately learn most of them.
That's why I don't like calling Chibi a sociopath. He has sociopathic tendencies, and NPD tendencies. A rational human being would've gone full scorched earth after AGDQ, but Chibi continued despite the alleged stress and depression it caused him. And unlike Chris Chan (who did try to leave the internet), Chibi didn't have legions of autists to wrangle him back into the internet. I think Chibi would probably be a lot happier if he got the Chris Chan treatment (if you think him not being popular is more stressful than being popular but hated) because then at least he'd have attention.
He is not a sociopath. Sociopaths show intelligence and planning.

That's a bit of a misconception. The intelligent sociopath stereotype comes from successful people, prominent serial killers, etc. They stick out as sociopaths hence why they are the stereotype, but in reality there are loads of average and even stupid sociopaths. Pedophiles tend to fall into the stupid sociopath category (and Chibi does have a history of preying on young girls now that I think about it), you can find a couple key examples here with their own threads. The issue is, that when someone is really low iq it muddies the waters on what is driving their behavior. Its really hard to distinguish whether someone acts indifferent to others emotions because they are emotionally immature, straight up assholes, autistic, sociopaths, or just plain stupid. The answer is usually some combination of factors.
Is not that don't agree with this, but in this case is like Occam's Razor: the simplest answer is the most probable.
