I'll probably get rated with puzzles, but I do think Shannon was just upset with his Internet friend and being attacked by him publicly was the last straw. This breakup wasn't entirely due to Ralph going after Jim and Jade. Gator never seemed to share Ralph's "a-log detractor hatred" aside from Josh Moon, which was likely because of Ralph and his paypig's gaslighting.

He would consistently engage with Flamenco, Rand, Nick Rekieta, he is probably even still on good terms with Adrienne Blair. Ralph had to contain his ego because Gator had his backend covered, being the appointed Killstream techie and janitor at $150-$200 A MONTH.

There's been a lot of retarded quotes from Gator, although for the first time ever Gator actually made me chuckle once or twice, by the time I started writing them down I had missed a lot (if anyone wants to listen back and get the rest).

To summarize, Gator has turned on Ralph very much like Failure on Donga, but still has some retarded takes and seems to be wanting to not say certain things and is obviously trying to turn this into his big moment. The Metokur voice was off the charts this episode, insufferable as always.
Even though he has dunked on Ralph quite a bit, it's still the same retarded Gator who can't help but hate women any time they are mentioned, believes in demons that destroyed IBS and all the retarded shit he's always done. The future looks interesting though.

I was watching a documentary about Jim Jones, the guy that led his entire community of Jonestown to commit mass suicide. One of the former members of his church was interviewed, and the thing that really got me was even while acknowledging how evil he was, she still believed he performed some legimate miracles during his services. Like, there was sexual abuse in his church he was covering up, but she believed God still worked miracles through him. If I remember right, she was even pressed on this point, and acknowledge some of them may have been faked, but she witnessed some that just had to be real.

Ethan Ralph isn't smart enough to be a cult leader, but after being in that shit for 2 years, there's probably some shit Gator still believes, despite the fact that he acknowledges Ralph is a piece of shit.
