Perhaps this wasn't exactly what was expected of the successor to the PillStream, yet i'd say this holds the torch in significance on Ralph's premier chronicle, the Guntkiji, also known as 'an Account of Gunt Matters'. This milestone will be remembered for quite some time.
 
The Gunt is being hunted into extinction.

Also hate to double-reply but I am pretty sure whoever the primary assailant was got him at least twice before he went down, because if you look at the contusions from the sunglasses, there are at least two punches there, because there are two pairs of contusions with the shades at a different position.

Yep, that's exactly what happened. The guy landed them very hard and very fast and Ralph didn't even hit the ground before the second of third shot came in. The guy wasn't out to just punch Ralph, he was out to teach him a hard lesson.

I didn't think Ralph's face could look fatter, but there you go.
 
Of course the gunt would throw himself in with Isabella Janke and her glowie father. What a hill to die on Ralph maybe Bella can even be the next mother of your gunt spawn.

Many years ago when I was in security I'd see mugging injuries often (as the bar was in a real shit hole location with plenty of street crime, mostly muggings) but these types of injuries in the photos I have seen in bar brawls in heated discussions - lots of heat shots, flaying punches out of anger or rage. You see them often on seated persons also as the head is the only target and the eyes often get the worse of it because its about level with the shoulder (especially his shorter stature).

I'd say he got smart mouthed with some people in a restaurant or bar and when he went outside after being booted by the establishment a single person or 2 came out and settled the matter once and for all.

I doubt he even landed a shot in response. I've had someone give me a good crack at my eye and it left an injury similar to what he had on one eye (let alone 2!) and it hurts like fucking hell and while we think we have the head space to return fire, you are pretty dazed, you can't focus as one eye at least is out of it and your throwing punches at thin air and you often put your face down and that's where you then get landed with more headshots.

There is no chance this came from a mugging and I doubt it was anything but a one -sided affair. The injuries are not at all consistent with a mugging.

He said he had a friend with him that was off to the side with the 4th mugger and he only "fought off" 1 or 2.

Who is this mystery wingman and how bad was he hurt? I'm thinking his friend and one of the "muggers" just stood back and watched a basic fight that Ethan started (and instantly lost).
