I deal with truckers for my job. One just told me he got approached by another trucker whom he couldn't understand well rambling about joining a convoy down here in the Midwest.

Eh I would hesitate saying any provincial government has caved yet. While there's been noise to that effect (particularly Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC), no tangible action has happened yet which is the only metric of success. Quebec's backtracking on the vax tax today probably counts, but it was always going to happen, Legault originally threw it out mostly to distract from his stagnating popularity.

Personally I'm watching Alberta and Saskatchewan because the moment they start actually loosening restrictions is when you know this protest is working.
 
Anecdotal post here by a fellow canuck, most people I know are tired of the restrictions, even more because Ontario and the federal government are trying to make it MORE harsh even though other countries are letting up because omicron is not as scary as predicted (“experts” constantly wrong lol). Not to mention rising food costs, shitty job market, and absolute meteoric rise in housing costs. Then the liberals want to cry “racism” and “nazi” when a mix of all races start protesting their shitty government.

I have a decent sized circle, I can tell you that this is not a race issue, it is a freedom issue first and foremost. People want to go outside, interact and not have mandates like other countries are doing. This whole slander of nazis and shit on reddit is disgusting to me, so blatantly obvious that the media is trying to manipulate people. Literally has nothing to do with white supremacy or whatever bullshit.
Reminds me of how BLM wasn’t racist just because a few people said “fuck whitey” but I guess a few people with nazi shit means the media can paint the entire freedom convoy as nazis?
