Ottawa police chief just admitted that nobody was denied medical/emergency service and that there was no violence. Right after gushing about the toll the protests have taken. Redditors gonna be reeling from this one.
 
Standing on the National Mall demanding redress does nothing as we have seen, shutting down interstate and global commerce just might get some results...we will see.

Of course they are, in their minds everyone is as restrained against breaking out into cannibalistic violence as they really are deep down and as seen in the BLM "protests". They really cannot comprehend the idea that non-compliance and simply being a moderate and hilarious nuisance in a small portion of the capital is just as effective (if not moreso) versus the idiots going ham because the police have been told to stand down so the lizard people can buy up downtown land cheap after the stores are all burnt out.

Which is exactly what they said they were going to do, the lanes for emergency services are still open, and they will move if its a first responder situation.

Like I said, the bugpeople cannot believe the idea of an actual peaceful protest of non-compliance.
 
If violence actually breaks out, I can't imagine the Ottawa police will want any part of that.

Can also say that if it did happen and Americans there got hurt, you're going to see a looooot of militia types jumping the border with rakes.
